What has happened to my high school Lawrence central, "The Central Sound" show choir ? Ever since the year 1999-2017 the show choir has gone downhill. They used to win grand champions at least 2 to 4 show choir competitions or be undefeated. I live in Las vegas and see all kinds of shows. I should call my alumni members and friends. figure out how to help choir program get back on the right track. My best friend who is now a music director In Illinois .Told me that has a lot to do with whom is the choir director. Whom is chosen as choir captain and must have a good choreographer. He has judge them in competitions in recent years and he is just as disappointed. Especially when I told him about wonderful Mick Bridgewater and Judy Bridgewater who worked so hard many years to make Lawrence Central performing arts and choirs be so strong. It gave a positive future for a lot of students like me and others who had it so hard in school at times.
Grow up. Times change, groups change, directors etc. Central Sound, like many groups, have times when they are as great as before. You're not offering any assistance, choreography? critique? clinic? Then sit your mad ass down somewhere. As an alum, I am proud of these kids and their work. They do the best they can with what they are given. These kids are infinitely more talented than past years in CS. To keep it all the way real, prior to 2001 CS was not winning a bunch of comps. Move along or help out.
Lydia and Dujuan , Eli. We and I mean friends did not mean to offend anyone or make it seem like I and them don't support Central sound. My daughter is in show choir. She gave me a heart to heart talk too. Plus eventually my nieces and nephews will be in high school .Me and some friends months ago in las vegas had to liquor and to much fun .we reminisce about our high school years. We watched old videos and played Truth or Dare. I know how dedicated those kids are and how much work and sweat they go through. We realize times have changed and choirs get new directors and choreographers. I actually was in town to see Central sound 2018 at Warren central competition and I was very proud of them. So Go Central Sound and sing into the future. Well I am Sorry to you 3 and I'm moving on focusing on what really matters my daughter and if I ever did live back Indy I would help support my high school choir and performing arts.

I am offended for these kids. They work their butts off. How dare you compare to groups from years ago. Constructive criticism, or kindly shut up.
