  • Cumin Seeds and Black Pepper Curry, also known as Jeere Meere Kadi, is a simple coconut gravy made without vegetables. Instead, it features cumin seeds and black pepper. In the olden days, people used to prepare this dish during the rainy season when vegetables were scarce. This curry is also beneficial when you have a cold, fever, or indigestion. It's very easy to prepare and tastes delicious when served with rice, dosa, chapati, or even ragi balls.
    Tips:
    1. If you like it spicy, you can add 2 extra red Guntur chillies.
    2. Do not boil the curry too much.
    3. For added flavor, you can peel and roast a few garlic cloves and add them to the coconut while grinding.
    4. You can add chopped vegetables like potatoes, capsicum, knol khol, etc.
