Highest step taxi speed achieved at Nahmint Lake :-) 2024-07-06

Quite windy everywhere but Nahmint Lake. It was very calm and glassy. We landed right at the middle of the lake where there was a small patch of ripples. The only problem is, it is far away from the beach we wanted to go.
To reach the beach fast, I started the step taxi and turn. Haven't practised any step taxi in years! Forgot a very important check, to make sure the taxi speed is lower than 55 miles. We were skipping over the water at 60 miles, having a nerve-racking time to keep her on the surface!
Taxi at near takeoff speed and on glassy water is not a good idea. She went airborne (at 12:30) but we only felt it seconds later due to the optical illusion by the glassy water, at the time when flaps were still up. I added full power immediately (at 12:41), Phil lowered the flaps (at 12:55).
