i love Top's weird ass . Big bang was the 1st kpop i ever got into.
TOP is an art expert and colector . The MV has references to Dadaism who was an art movement after WW1 an artistc response to the non sense of war and damage it left . Is chaotic because people were left shatered . There is meaning and nothing is really radom . Many references to art , movies and TOP say he is evolution , he is opening minds to new things . Lyrics are great . I am so curious what the album he works on now will sound like. His creative mind lives in another dimension

Someone had to do it first, now it's commonplace..BigBang just disregarded others views and tried to think outside the box. Youngsters took note and continued on widening that kpop category. It's pure appreciation to their discography and those who listened and put out their own checkmark to the genre..Thanks for appreciating this weird but true masterpiece..VIPS/MULTI rejoice

If you google "doom dada analysis" you will find so many articles giving their interpretation of this mv 😂. TOP threw in many movie and art references. Here's mine:
1. apes - 2001 Space Odyssey movie by Stanley Kubrick about how intelligence on earth was sparked by a monolith from an alien civilisation, in this case substitute mic for monolith.
2. running skeletons - zoetrope, the earliest form of animation
3. opening desert landscape and sidecar - korean movie "The Good, the Bad and the Weird"
4. artpiece of the deer - korean painter Kim Whanki's "Deer".
5. Salvador Dali - TOP wore his famous moustache and many references to his paintings
6. walking through creepy trees - "The Blair Witch Project" movie using the shaky cam, first person narrative.
