Lion has even walked into one of the interrogation rooms while chaplains were interrogating and torturing a captured Fallen, Lion tells the Chaplain to leave the room so he can be alone with Fallen angel. After a while Lion comes out of the room and tells the Chaplains to continue the interrogation and leaves.

Fun fact, primarch was an actual rank that could be achieved and granted to the thunder warriors by the emperor, acting as a general for the designated legion.
Primarchs were also just normal humans in the very first version so were space marines which actually had female space marines (very quickly retired cause no one was buying) ect ect really early lore was very funny

He doesn't take unnecessary risks when leading or battling.

Theres actually a provision in the codex astartes, which says the 1000 marine limit isnt enforced if the chapter is on crusade. Technically, the black Templars are always on crusade, and therefore use this loop hole to have as many marines as they want
The space wolves have like their entire legions worth of ships i imagine each ship having a single squad

@@huscarlgaming177 ultramarines: you're good at everything, except at logistics where you excel. Others could be better at building fortress, or doing sieges, be quicker, have more psykers etc... but if you want to project power and being able to operate anywhere at anytime, ultramarines do it better.
Salamanders: the only thing that Burns hotter than they're flamers are their hearts. These green dyed , black skin red eyes giants look intimidating until you discover that their are the *most* human of they all
aspirant are placed in scout to learn to fight, battle brothers are placed in devastators to learn to watch, then tactical or assault where their skills will be used.

An interesting fact, starting with the rank of captain and above, a paratrooper has the right not to wear a helmet, because the pathos and story armor generated by him protects him better than the void shield of a battleship.

This is a great video but now I wish we get one about either Guard Regiments like the Catachan, Valhallan, etc or maybe about the Schola Progenium and all the special units it produces like Ciaphas Cains, I mean non trigger happy Commissars, Inquisitors etc.
Or maybe a video covering Chaos Space Marines but those are way too... chaotic to be covered easily.

Titus' previous rank of Captain is way higher than I imagined... This makes Leandros' reporting of him to the Inquisition seem even more ridiculous, it's like a Corporal reporting a General of his field army/corp...?

What's even more ridiculous and ironic is, for all that Leandros blustered about the Codex Astartes not supporting many of Titus' actions, Leandros himself disobeyed the Codex by reporting Titus to the Inquisition. If you suspect a Battle-Brother of Corruption or Heresy, you're supposed to report them to the chapter's Chaplains or Librarius first.
And upon his return, Guilliman was disappointed that his Codex wasn't revised at all after 10K years, and was treated with the same reverence as a holy book.
The funny thing is that technically primarchs don’t have an established rank in the modern imperium, but who is going to say no to literal son of god. And yet in this fanatic imperium there are A LOT of people who would. Idiots.
It's the reason why after Guilliman woke up that there are fewer High Lords of Terra now

18:46 Correction, 6 traitors. During the Great Crusade, there were 18 Primarchs, the Horus Heresy divided them as 9 Traitors and 9 Loyalists. Of the Traitors, 3 were killed during the Heresy and the other 6 became Deamon Princes.

This video made me realize something wild. In the trailers of space marine 2 all three characters look exactly the same as they did in the actual game meaning they always knew who they wanted titus' team to be, i like that detail.
its different within the BLACK TEMPLARS and IRON SNAKES. the black templars take their neophytes as squires of experienced battlebrothers with them into battle and dont even organize in companies but crusades instead, ranging from single squads to thousands of space marines in size. the iron snakes leave their chapters homeworld ithaca as fullfledged battlebrothers after completing their training against the harsh conditions of the aquatic wildlife there. the chapter itself operates in squads which are named after their founding sergeant with a handful of very prestigious examples. most of the squads are accompanied by apothecaries to perform as the squads medic during their long and solitary patrols. the rank of hero captain within the chapter allows for assembling and leading a considerable force if necessary.

Iron Fathers aren’t Chapter Masters. Every Clan (company) of the Iron Hands has 1 minimum by default, with no set max limit afaik. The Iron Hands are led by their Iron Council which is comprised of Iron Fathers, but the Iron Council also elects one of their members to become the Chapter Master (with no fancy alternative title), the current being named Kardan Stronos
Actually there is a title for the chosen Iron Father, in the case of Kardan Stronos he has been elected Warleader for 400 consecutive years. And the limit number for the Iron Council acording to the books is 42 members.

The novel writers made the 40K Lion a more reasonable version of him yet still reflective of his past. The Codex writers threw all that character development in the trash and gave us the Great Crusade Lion in 40K, disappearing xenos, secretive actions, and spunged enemies and all.

I was wondering how does a space marine has to (or has the choice to) wear a terminator/phobos or other armor
those marines that decided to stay in the 10th company to fill a more specialized sniper role would wear the Phobos armor
The 1st company members that been granted the "terminator honor" would have the choice to wear Terminator armor

While inquisitors are powerful and have some degree of sway on the astartese they usually dont try to do anything from the lowliest battle brother to chapter masters they are careful in their tone

The only 2 people that a Chapter Master will show respect to that rank above them, one is a Primarch and the one above them all is the Emperor of Mankind. The inquisition, and the High Lords are often not looked at favorably by majority of Astartes.

If you do a Video about the specialist ranks, you could maybe put something like a "command tree" at the end, showing where each rank, be it specialist or general, is located within the command structure, which ranks are of the same or similar standing, etc.
