I live in zone 5B, southern Vermont. I do not lift my allium bulbs in the fall, just leave them in the ground. They come up healthy.

Hi! Ornamental Allium is an unpretentious plant, the main condition for growing - the bulbs should not be grown further than 3-4 winter hardiness zones, because they can be damaged by frost in the soil in winter.
