I'm Rick's wife, and I don't usually comment but I am going to this time. I can pick apart a video just like you can, (even ones Rick has done), however I've tried doing a few videos and it's a lot harder than you think! Such harsh comments to a newbie, play nicely boys and give new folks a chance... It doesn't go smoothly overnight! Just look at Rick's videos from 2007! Lol. But y'all gave him a chance. THANK YOU for that, btw. I also want to say "good job Aaron", I know how hard a job it actually is and Rick sets the bar really high (in my humble opinion), but if you receive the criticism and implement changes you'll continue to grow. Rick is a great teacher. Keep learning from him & pass it on.

My first thoughts were, that was quick and brief also because were are use to the reviews. By the end I realized this was a quick overview of a gun and scope offered at Airgun Pro Shop. Not an airgun review. Aaron, You did fine. Anyone complaining needs to post a link to their channel so we can how well they do :).
I'd forgot about those scopes. I have several air rifles that don't need 400.00 scopes. 30mm tubes, etched glass and side focus at this price is awesome. Going take a closer look at these.
Rick, I do remember those earlier videos standing in your backyard and a 480p. I enjoyed them back then, 480p and all it's fuzziness. Where too spoiled to HD now.

Hello, what is the distance to the target?
Can't say I liked the music playing when I'm trying to listen to the sound of the rifle. If you're going to do a review, skip the music and stick to the facts.
Use 452 in 177 very good no power loss very accurate
I purchased one of these air rifles about 6 months ago and all I can say is it's deadly accurate shoots very tight groups out to 40 yards 177 cal but I was very very disappointed after shooting it through the chronograph a 7.5 grain pellet only pushing 825 ft per second I was under the misconception that with that light of pellet that gun should be shooting over 1000 feet per second I was very disappointed in the velocity of this gun.

I still enjoyed the video, guys. Aaron- keep up the good work. Some new content/style is fine; it doesn't mean the "old" way is going away. I also look at this video as not so much of a review as a "Gamo made a decent gun into a great gun, so check it out!" kinda thing. Hearing this airgun rivals the MRod in perceived sound is good news. This rifle reminds me a lot of the Cometa/AFI Orion.

Why did you think you needed music that diverts attention (and is annoying) when you started shooting?
Aaron i have the bsa scorpion in .177 and they use the same magazine and they dont like all the pellets, the h&N they jam the magazine , all the pellets that are not cylindrical like the jsb jam the magazine. so i dont know if you have that problem so let me know if i need a new one or if im right.
What distance were you shooting at?

Are the mags the same as the BSA R10? Where you shooting 10gr pellets? Would you say this is a step up from a Benjamin Discovery? Great video!! Keep up the work guys!
the mags are the exact same. I think he was probably shooting the 10.3 or the 8.4 grain jsbs.. This is a major step up from the Disco.. and a serious step up from something like the marauder.

The Coyote will do fine out to 50 yards, it can take small game out to and beyond 100 yards with practice and the proper conditions.

Owning all 3 guns.. I'd choose the AT44 and the Gamo Coyote Whisper over the Marauder any day. Now between the AT44 and the Gamo Coyote things get more difficult. If you just want to shoot and have no interest in modifying, tinkering, or adjusting your gun, the Coyote is probably the best sub $600 PCP that I've ever shot. It's just not a tinkerers gun. If you are one of those guys that just has to mess with every setting, tweak, possible adjustment, etc. then the AT44 QE is the way to go.
The AT44 probably has a bit more power, and can certainly be adjusted to have more power. On the other side, the Gamo Coyote Whisper probably has better 50 yard accuracy right out of the box, no tinkering required. Both are highly effective on small game. We've taken rabbit and prairie dog out to 80 and 100 yards with the .22 cal coyote and the AT44 QE Long. Both are very capable airguns.

the only problem i have with aaron is he didnt give us no details on the gun. like chrono numbers, what the db is or the range he was shooting at. other then that he was great.
Thanks for the info.. we can get that data added in. See I played a bit of a trick on Aaron. I was going to do this video with him, but I had something come up. So, I told him to go shoot it on his own and we'd use if for a learning experience. So far, it's working pretty good for that. Sort of a sink or swim moment.
Just a note.. probably won't see us post DB numbers. They are too arbitrary and too easy to get "wrong" based on so many variable and external influences. For the numbers to mean anything you need a 100% controlled environment and the right equipment. I have neither so rather than put out controversial data, I just don't do it. When we say it is quiet however.. it's marauder quiet.. maybe quieter than the marauder.

nice review mate, i own one of the first coyotes .177 they ever build, i risk a buying cheap pcp and that turns to be great, way too accurate, i killed doves over 100m, (longest shoot was 127 m) and sparrows over 90 m...i shoot 300+ pellets every day and no problem at all, now i install an after market regulator, power was reduced to 860 fp/s from 920 fps with jsb 10.34...i enjoy every shoot..trust me its a BSA BUCCANEER in cheap version but even better...check my channel for shooting videos if you like, thanks
this air riffle is a good choice for all shooters, nice wood work, smooth trigger out of the box, 70-80 shoots per fill, what more you need? a good scope and you are ready. tip, dont forget to lube magazines o-ring and keep clean filling port and adapter...enjoy!!!!!!!!
