That conceal carry compartment is for folding your shoulder strap up and carrying it by the handle. That's why theres a button on the strap that lines right up with the t
It's definitely designed for a firearm. Tucking the strap in there is an option if you want to carry it around like a purse. All depends on the user.

Throw a large contractor size plastic bag and one of those plastic bags they have in the vegetable sections of grocery stores. The first. Can be used for multiple things the latter can carry more than a gallon of water..

I don't think the 'concealed carry pocket' you are talking about is very good for the purpose. If you are wearing it as a sling - how are you going to have quick access to a weapon in that pocket. I have this sling and use the large zippered pouch for concealed carry. It works very well and it at just the right location for getting to a weapon quickly.
it's not shock cord in front of the flag patch,, it's knock off paracord
i have the red rock rover, how does this stack up against that? i tried a 5.11 sling but it was still heavy af empty with no backplate so i sold it
It's very similar to the Red Rock. I had one for a short time. Sling backs IMO aren't intended to be loaded out to heavy. This is still light and comfortable.
