the diesels
Great vid.... These trains are so short compared to the LIRR's 10 or 12 cars .... I guess less ridership ! I've always wanted to know what the apparatus is on the top of the red cars ? We don't have that on the LIRR. And the condition of the M3's are in much better condition here !
M8s have the apparatus because it's also got a pantograph for overhead lines in parts of Westchester County and Connecticut
I wish they could kept some m2s around to put positive train control like the M3AS and the M3s on the metro North and the long island Railroad s.
There was nothing wrong with the M4s M6s M2s .
Pretty soon the metro North will be getting some M9AS or M10As .
