I have a 2012 VF2SS at home that the tool release piston is slow to return and also makes the farting noise sometimes. On a rapid tool change the spindle fires up and makes a horrible sound as the piston is still contacting the draw bar for a split second. I now know exactly what I have to do to fix this. Great vid. Simple bit too often overlooked! You could do a quick more in depth one on the tsc pre charge. It’s far more psi sensitive than a standard pre charge. Not enough and it won’t hold the pressure (or even make it down) too much and you apply to much force to the “union” (New carbide tips for these unions may be a good product for your store as well? (They are pretty basic)
Thank you for sharing your knowledge, I take this opportunity to ask, I have been having problems with that part of a VF4, but it seems that it is something on the electronic board, what happens is that when a routine ends or I pause the program, the valve Preload turns on and off intermittently and doesn't stop until I press reset. Do you have any idea what could be causing the problem? Thank you very much again for your valuable videos.
