- Tell them what they want to hear
If you don’t have an answer, you can start talking about a hypothetical situation for 30 seconds; and once an idea comes to mind, then “Yes, I can think of a specific example of a situation when I missed an obvious solution to a problem”
There is a rather finite list of behavioral questions (although they could be rephrased in many ways); but still, they can all be touched upon - if this is your dream job - and you lack ideas as to how to prepare, then definitely take a look
Having the same story for two or more questions
Intentionally omit key details from the answer - make them curious, so you trick them into asking follow-up questions you want
Look-up their online profiles - see what they like - if they like binge watching Netflix, well, you could have that embedded in one of your experiences - if that’s the case, of course.

The question of "when you disagreed with a manager" aligns best with the leadership principle of "have backbone: disagree and commit". The reason for this being that they want to see that even though you did not agree with manager, you voiced your opinion, stood your ground, but was still committed to doing your job to the highest standards and being respectful.

Good tips!
Glad you think so!
This guy is cool. I just got an offer from Amazon.
Thanks and congrats!
@@DanCroitor To make clear, I did watch Dan's video which helped me. But I did it the hard way, i.e., I spent four days jogging my memory to prepare about 20 stories that can be used for most all principles. Since I was planning to reuse the stories, I used genuine stories to ensure I am consistent across the whole panel.
@@ajaypatel1851 congratulations!!! I am preparing for Technical Program Manager role in India. It would be really helpful if you can shares some tips.
@@eswarapani3284 That's not my role so hard to advise. Best is to be genuine, have a rich story that has learnings, failures, successes, human interaction, etc.
Thanks Dan.

Thank you, I will have a call with Dan Croitor in 4 hours for a review and maybe the questions. I will stay in touch. Good luck to you also.
@@shellyr.6063 Hi Shelly, any luck on finding the list? I've looked around via google and find lots of similar lists but Dan's material is by far the best so I'm really hoping to find that one.
You are amazing!
