- Join me as I review my red-eye flight experience on American Airlines' Airbus A321neo from Phoenix to Philadelphia in Domestic First Class. While the seat and crew were highlights, the lack of a meal service and in-flight entertainment left much to be desired. Find out why I think there are better options for your money and get a glimpse into the comfort and features of the A321neo cabin. Stay tuned as I continue my journey with a connecting flight to New York.

Wow For a business class flight only a basic snack service is provided It’s so embarrassing European and Asian airlines provide a hot
Meal for a smiling fight in length of time and distance 😢
American Airlines is becoming the next Spirit. It’s sad and unfortunate how much they have fallen. They seem to care less and less about their customers. Hope you get a middle seat review soon. Untied middle was great definitely recommend
I 100% agree their offerings and services have declined so much.
That surprises me about the meal service. I have taken UA several times on the red-eye between LAX-CLE & a full dinner service is offered in First (Business) with a choice of 6 meals to preorder for the flight.
No meal on a red eye flight is standard for US carriers. You would most likely have received the same service on DL, UA or B6 on a red eye of that length.
Nope, just flew a red-eye in First with United PHX-IAD and they did a full meal service
I fly UA several times on the red-eye between LAX-CLE & a full dinner service is offered up front. You have a choice of 6 meals to chose from in the preorder for the flight.
@@GlobalAviationTravelUnited meals have never been good or edible to me, I think I’ll stick to some snacks 😂
Will they offer meals on a 3 hour flight from Miami to Barbados?
@@passionatelyfine2206 they should
I use AA for convenience. They are not a service-based airline and provide zero experience. I fly them as Phoenix is home and they are convenient for direct flights for long weekends and business trips. For leisure or vacation, when time is less of a concern, I usually fly Delta even if it means having a connection. I wish AA would step up its hard product and offer more of an experience.
I like American, United , Delta and Southwest airliens. All airliens offer entertainment at some level
I agree with you . I rather fly united any giving day
I would have expected at least a warm breakfast sandwich prior to arrival in PHL.
I understand no IFE, as a streaming service is much cheaper for an airline to provide.
A breakfast sandwich prior to landing would be the perfect service of these "red-eyes"!
Exactly
Is wifi free in AA Business class?
No
How are night flights in terms of turbelence ?
Depends on the time of year and location, for example in summer, late in the afternoon and night you will probably experience the highest chance of turbulence across the central United States
American airlines is going down
Sure buddy, sure 😂
Greag
I don’t like them because I would not be able to sleep on the plane
Get over yourself! If you want a meal, travel during meal times and not on a red eye. Maybe people want to rest and not be interrupted in the middle of the night.
But the main competitors do it even on red eye flights and other than the seat, what else are you paying for?
