      Yes, habitual DUI and possibly a big body count as a result. Naturally, she considered being prohibited to have a car was a violation of her liberty so she took action to circumvent that 'unjust' ruling and now she's out of even more cash as a result.
      CLUES FOR THE CLUELESS: Don't try to be clever to skirt around the law. It just ends up expensive and can even cost you your freedom.

    • @Transformers2Fan1
      @Transformers2Fan1 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      @@Clare1981two separate crimes - being raped is disconnected from underage drinking
      To use your example in part - it's like raping a minor and pressing charges when the minor bites off an ear or stabs you or some other serious injury.
      You don't get protection from assault (tbf it's self defense and this not a perfect example) when you were raping the kid at the time the same kid assaulted you.
      Or getting shot by an angry parent because you broke into their house and started raping their kid.
      In order for the law to protect you against the injury, the injury would have to be illegal, which means it couldn't be self defense which means the sex act couldn't be illegal.
      Plaintiff didn't steal the car, she sold a car she legally owned.

Here's the first major red flag, and I have JJ to thank for giving me this knowledge. He insisted that I come to his place to pick him up because, since he started working from home....he was letting his EXGIRLFRIEND borrow his car INDEFINITELY because he's a "nice guy." My next thought was "You're a moron." First of all, I want nothing to do with his ex. Secondly, what if she wrecks it? What if she doesn't wanna give it back? I wouldn't even let my best friend borrow my car "indefinitely." You have it for this amount of time and that's it. Needless to say, he got even weirder and I ended up ghosting him.

    IN MY VIEW
    The defendant is the real DUMMY agreeing that its ok for the plaintiff to HAVE A CAR & DRIVE WITHOUT A LICENSE and placing ALL the consequences on herself.

    The plaintiff should blame the grandson, not her friend. I believe she sold the car for two reasons
    1) To avoid entering into more serious problems in the future just because her name is attached to the car (if the car hurts or kills someone for instance, as Judge Judy said.
    2) She was obviously angry she had to pay to get it out of impound and there is no guarantee the friend would have agreed to pay her back that money.
    On the other hand, if the grandson is an adult, he should take responsibility for driving the car without permission and causing the plaintiff all this distress.
    Above all, it isnt right to break the law.
