  • Hello my new friend😉👐
In this video, I will show you, how to paint transparent layered turquoise flowers in watercolor.
It will be floral watercolor painting in abstract style.
It is easy watercolor flowers tutorial, you only need to repeat everything after me.
I love to paint flowers in watercolors, but transparent ones are my favorites!
Because it is floral watercolor painting for beginners.
Drawing them is more like meditation)
These abstract watercolor flowers I preferred to paint with Japanese painting brushes. They are very suitable for loose watercolor flowers painting.
First, I painted layered flowers in an abstract style with watercolor and then decided to add some splashes)
    ♡ Materials

Hello dear Lola, I love to see how your Japanese brush dances across the page. And your lovely hand gently caressing the painting showing it’s dry now. Thank you for this beautiful tutorial! I can’t wait to try it myself.💗💐

Hi Lisa, thanks for hearing from you. Yes, I really enjoyed working with these brushes. You know, at first, when I bought them, I was very dissatisfied with them)))) I didn’t even know where to use them, these brushes. But then I realized! And miracle, they are ideal, but only for something of their own.🤗😀

This makes me want to experiment with mine. I have a couple of them but I feel so awkward using them - I’m sure it takes practice. Thank you for the inspiration!🙏🏼💗🌷

I know you didn't talk through this tutorial, but I'm a visual/tactile learner, so this was perfect for me. What a lovely painting and a lot easier than some of the other tutorials I've watched. Thank you for sharing!

Oh, I guess I'm also a visual)) I've been working on the voiceover for a tutorial on watercolor techniques for 2 weeks now and it's torture for me because I don't know English and I need to learn to say every phrase))))))) Soon you'll hear my voice and say: Oh God, delete this video😆😂😂😂😂😂

Still working on getting this right. Transparent is hard. One of the reasons I put watercolor down 20 years ago and went with acrylic and oil. Did a pretty good job (still needs work) and then tried a salt background. Didn't get much uptake by the salt, but when I brushed the salt off, there were tiny bits left behind that work like the finest glitter. Happy accident!

Here's a life hack. You can create super transparency if, right after applying the paint, you take a napkin and blot (remove) all the paint. A super-transparent delicate layer will remain. You can also darken only the edges, and only water in the middle. With this method, you will have to wait until the paint spreads a little inward. And immediately dry with a hairdryer at the point that suits you.

Do you use hot press paper for this painting?
