All my videos are done live, using one take.
What's crazy is that the vocalists sound more in sync and like one person than many people who sing and overdub their own harmonies on a recording.
Actually good, young singers with warm-ups, practice, and the same vowel sounds when they sing. Amazing how much little things can help.😊
Am I mistaken in thinking that it's usually off by a little bit on purpose?
@@evilhippo887you’re correct. In studio sometimes they’ll even double a vocalist’s main track and offset it by just a tiny bit to give it a sound like what we have here. There’s a lot of magic in the mixing 🙂
@@evilhippo887 More like, two performances will never be completely in sync, but if they're tight enough then that gives the desired effect - you wouldn't want them as exact as possible, this would actually detract from the sound, which is why you also can't just copy and paste a track then offset by a few milliseconds to get a 'double tracked' effect. Its also very likely that this was not done as a single live/one take multi track recording (but if someone wants to tell me otherwise with proof, I'll be damn impressed).
Paramore was my favourite band as a teenager, and you've definitely given the song a smooth 60's jazzy take. Congratulations, Robyn, Sarah and Candace. ❤👏🏾
