The first two invasions were funny, but at 2:28, you really got me. I've never expected the host to be pulled out of the tower and over the ledge. My old ribs hurt.
What I love about gravity weapons is you can have accidental moments like 2:29 and just pretend you totally read and outplayed your opponent. As the old saying goes, "we take those".
They should change it so that increasing your int increases the range of gravity spells/aows. Not only does this fit the lore with gravity magic comming from the onx lords and Radahn hold back the stars but it would greatly improve the utility too.
Another build suggestion: unlike the death spells, the magma ones that scale off of intelligence and faith are actually worth trying out. Super high damage and the spell you get from Rycards soul can be pretty good in PVP as well, since it tracks well and chases enemies around. Then, you can use a rapier or quick spells to catch the roll-catch enemies
The sword of night and flame also scales off faith and int which makes the double investment pretty good. Could be some fire damage synergy there too, flame Scorpion charm and flame crystal tear
@@caelenhill948 There are only like 5 death spells, and two of them are a pretty similar to the chasing lava spell I mentioned - but with a weaker and equivalent version. There is an eruption one but it probably never got poise buffs in the patches... and the one tha summons minions to attack is still insanely bad, you can dodge like half the time by standing still. I tried all of them when I went hybrid in a build once and it was underwhelming. Like the other comment said: Sword of Night and Flame is a good weapon to go with this to profit off the double scaling but other than that and magma there isn't much point in going both Int and Faith

Edit: nvm, it was probably Crimson Bubbletear… honestly idk why i never thought of using it for invasions, seems like such an obvious choice lol

Im playing a combo of this and you're scholars armament build.. not quite as much int as u had but buffing my 2 hnded strength wrapons with SA is pretty nice
I’m literally doing a strength/intelligence run right now, it’s nuts. I’m dual wielding the fallen star beast jaw and a golems heavy halberd with a determination ash of war (gonna switch it out later) and it’s pretty nutty for both long range punishers and jump attacks
Have you tried out an arcane wizard before? Using the Albinauric Staff and a bit of int investment you can use some of the best spells and still have some amazing arcane weapons. (If you also invest a bit in faith you could also use incantations with the Dragon Communion Seal since that scales of Arcane too, but then it just gets too much stuff to have on one build.)
Bloody Antspur Rapier. Blood Tax. Kindred of Rot's Exultation, Lord of Blood's Exultation, Rotten Winged Sword Insignia (or Milicent's Prosthesis), and Assassin's Cerulean Dagger. Give that a try!
Honestly, at this point, I really hope that I get to see the Elden ring DLC soon, because I’m at the point in the game where I want to play Elden ring but there’s nothing to do, i’ve done so many different playthroughs and have made multiple characters and I have done a lot PVP, and even On one occasion I made a character just to go out and complete all the quest lines and get all endings. So at this point is really nothing else for me to do. I don’t want the DLC to be rushed I just hope that we hear something about it, but from soft nails it with DLC’s/games in general so I already know it’s going to be good.
im currently playing int str right now and its so fun spamming massive AoWs. theyre so useful when up against a lot of opponents in pvp, it has a lot of really good setups to play with high damage until you get st. trina's torch, which also has very high damage
All I’m saying is if the DLC has a Str/Int scaling staff like the clawmark seal (clawmark staff?) it’s over. (Like some Demi-human king’s staff? Or maybe an Onyx lord’s staff?)
Actual question: do you only select content you don't die in, or do you actually just straight up not die? I mean no offense, I just think it might be good to also show the losses and then analyze what you did wrong for learning purposes.
So I was considering making yt vids and cutting out all the losses but I wasn't sure if it was dishonest in not the best player so my losses might be boring. Also about learning from mistakes. You might just want to record yourself and analyze your losses because chases misplays may be different to yours and it would be better to see what you specifically need to work on. Sorry if this is out of line just trying to help
Hey Jo Chase, love ur vids! Quick question I’m returning to Elden ring, what is a good poise stat? Is 88 needed or can I go a bit down. What is the min/max I should look for?

U can true combo royal greatsword aow w a gravity fan buts its insanely hard to perfect time… as range has to be perfect and u have to do the aow before the gravfan hits… (so its item use/aow right after + opponent needs to get stunned by gravfan and be perfectly spaced for aow range) would make a great clip tho if u land it!
Theyre not bad for after u land a hit or ash of war either bc they come out so fast and can add into true combo, pseudo, or roll catch, and definitely adds a nice synergy to the str/int
Can we do a build centered around debuffs/buffs… the build will require some strategy, won’t be easy to pull off, but has potential for fun memey content… i have a bunch of ideas, but please just see if any debuffs stack… utilize some sleep pots to get them off if needed.. the fun part about this build will be the creativity… no one wants to do it, but build needs a fitting showcase… this is the #1 place for it
