Let's be honest, a Phil was the funniest character on the show that a top 10 list isn't enough. Ty Burrell was just amazing as Phil, managing to be slightly creepy at times yet sweet, caring and hilarious all at once. He was one of the only reason I made it through some of the last few seasons.
But the thing is, Claire really match him well. She might want to control everything but they balance each other ❤️ The MAGICal Valentine's Day that Claire planned, wow. They always have each other's backs. I love it.

A fairly underrated moment for me was when he caught Andy and Hayley on the Christmas episode and he sat Andy down to say “that’s my girl and you’re engaged to someone else, if this is a fling this is over do you understand me?”. Showing his serious side gains respect from the audience as when push comes to shove he doesn’t take any crap against his kids
I can name like 1,000 times that Phil has had his best character moments. He’s my favorite character and Phil is such an amazing father and person!!! He may not be an actual living human being… but luckily a great an amazing dad with a great personality we can see on a TV Show, which is pretty amazing. He’s optimistic, romantic, caring, fun, funny, goofy, charming, and so on!!! He maybe be a child in an adult body, but that’s what makes him so interesting and an amazing character!!! Phil is my favorite character in the show. And the Jay toast scene may be my most favorite scene out of the entire series. Silently drinking together while watching the rain, Jay would not have done that with Phil when the series started. It just shows how close the two had gotten the more that the show progressed.

One of my favorites: when Joe has a crush on Claire during Valentines Day. Phil doesn’t get weirded out or panicked in any way; instead, he talks to the child man-to-man, convincing Joe that he will be able to get any woman he wants when he is older but Phil will never be able to do better than Claire. In one fell swoop, Phil diffused an emotional situation with Joe AND put his wife on a pedestal on Valentines Day.
I'm really determined to not be married and not have kids in the future but after watching Phil's character in Modern Family, I'm slowly starting to have second doubts. In short Phil is a dangerous character for me😂❤️

Dylan had reorganized and was working as a nurse and besides, he loved Haley very much. Dylan is not a loser, he is an honest man who has taken over Haley's children, and who appears to be a good Father.
