Kind wrong with some of these:
    - Suarez was hammered by media but quickly recovered thanks to his great performances while playing for Barcelona. In the next years he was considered the best striker in the world and nowadays he is considered to be arguibly the best striker of his generation and of the last decade.
    - Zidane was also hammered by the media, but he was retiring anyways. Despite of this, the headbutt is rarely brought up and nowadays Zidane is world-widely considered one of the greatest of all time. If anything Zidane more than made up for the incident because years later he became one of the most succesful coaches in the world by leading Real Madrid to 3 Champions Leagues in a row.
