I remember when I watched the very first episode, the cave scene...I legit cried and whispered, thinking of Jim, "you poor man, you poor poor man...you couldn't do that back in the day, you were so limited. Wonder how you doing up there, looking at it now."
Just look how beautiful and complex they were able to make all of the characters.
I want to believe he was more than pleased with the result. Dark Crystal was his passion project, even if it was a bit of a miss for people.
This has to be one of the best fantasy series EVER! Not only were the sets, creature creations, puppetry and voice actors simply incredible, but the plot and overall writing was truly amazing. I loved every aspect of it. I can't believe NETFLIX cancelled it! Is there any chance of it being saved / revived ????

Wow this is grate i did not even know that Fround was still alive! as awafull as hat sounds but damb u have to give him credit for stamina he has to be in his 80's now. i mean he and his wife have outlived poor jim and most of the cast and crew of the original dark crystal movie.
Yeah and it is amazing to see, that son Toby, who was the baby in Labyrinth was a production designer alongside his parents on Dark Crystal AoR.

The story wasnt even complete... think LOTR without the first and second film. One film 3 parts. One book 3 parts. The story of THRA is nearly as big as the Silmarillion!

C'mon, Variety, the word is always spelled "Skeksis," but is pronounced "skek-sis" for singular and "skek-sees" for plural
I was under the impression that "skeksis" was the plural form; I assumed that the singular form would logically probably be skeks. Haha.
