    Swami Nirmalananda Giri Maharaj
This is very beautiful and Valuable discourse of Swami Nirmalananda Giri Maharaj, which everyone should listen to at least once in his life .
In this video, Swamiji beautifully explains how the Hindu custom, Science and music are piritually tied up to save and protect the Nature. Swamiji explains the importance of Snakes in our Nature and how it is protecting us from air pollution.
Navooru or Naveru Pattu is a tradition in Kerala. A special group of People called 'Pulluvar' will be invited to our house to sing a prayer to Naga Devatha (Snake God) to protect our children from 'Navooru Dhosham' which is nothing but the thick water puring out of some children's mouth.
As per ancestors, Navooru dhosham is because of air pollution and Snakes can purify the air, especially the Snakes which are highly venomous. So the Pulluvan sings to invite the Snakes to come and live near to our houses to protect our children from Navooru dhosham and to purify the air.
We are currently severe natural Calamities because we lost our beautiful tradition which teaches to love other creatures and to protect our Nature.
Please do watch and share this valuable Thought.
