Alright time to explain some things! These are some answers to the questions asked in the comment section. What caused the disaster? - I tried to explain it as simple as possible in the video. At 4:27 you can see that both temperature and pressure are rising in the core 1. You can see below the meter that the temperature reaching over 600 °C in the core isn't great and the pressure going over 600 bar isn't good either. Then we can see at 4:32 that reactor 1. power has gone up from regular 500 MW to 3800 MW. This is due the increasing of the steam in the turbines that generates more power. (the steam increased when the temperature rose in the core). Red dots on the reactor 1. display means that uranium rods in the core are malfunctioning. And THE MAIN REASON to all of this is the problem with core coolant flow, as you can see at 4:36. The display shows error with the automatic core coolant flow, which is meant to control the temperature of the core 1. Both temperature and pressure are still increasing in the core. If the coolant doesn't flow into core to cool it down, disaster awaits. So workers in the control room contact with the other workers at the turbine hall that core automatic coolant flow doesn't work, so it has to be done manually (this is scenes 4:48 - 5:13) The disaster happens when the temperature and the pressure have increased way too much, causing the massive explosion. And that's how the reactor 1. of the Lego City nuclear power plant blows up. Isn't 100 years too little time for the area being uninhabitable? - The area that was exposed for high doses of radiation was large and the radioactivity was variable. That sign in the end that says ''Uninhabitable for over 100 years'' concerns the area of Lego City and the time is just a prediction. it COULD be 100 years, 1000 years or perhaps over 10 000 years uninhabitable. If you have more questions about the video, ask commenting below this comment.
