I couldn't get past Step 2 (attaching the cable) without this video. The very important words, "you have to move the arm up." My goodness, why doesn't the manual say that? My MaxiClimber sat in my living room for MONTHS because I could not figure that out. So a huge thank you!

Yes, my battery arrived dead as well. You simply lift out the little square module, slide the battery down and out, and slide a new one in..

Great set of instructions. Men hate reading instruction books. But a video don't count ;) I found only two sticky points. Attaching the rubber shoe restraints is a royal pain in the a**. Requires a lot of pulling and pushing. A little easier if one side pg the rubber flange is pushed in and secured first. The second was the screw removal from the phone holder. I found it very tight. As was the installation. Threads hit a sticking point. I used a wrench and a proper Philips screw driver to seat it. That aside straightforward assembly. Thanks!

Took me a min to figure out the two foot bar part just said bolts and washer with no number in the video it was skipped and edit with no visual.. So for anyone else who was stuck on that part @1:31..I figured to put the long #72 in through the bar 1st then through the holes of the bottom portion and then put the curved washer and dome nut #18 and screw on YW

I’ve been going crazy since yesterday after I used my Maxiclimber XL.... my husband assembled it while I wasn’t home (being helpful) but for the love of God I didn’t feel the resistance! I’m extremely athletic but I have Multiple Sclerosis & haven’t been feeling well however I knew I wasn’t freaking crazy!!!! Before stumbling upon this video I was going to call the company thinking something was wrong w/ machine! He skipped a step AND watching this video just showed me he never attached the hydraulics! 🤦🏽♀️ Thank you!!! ❤

Had 2 actual mental breakdowns while trying to set this up. Came to this video for help, and got exactly what I came for. Cut the building process stress down tremendously. Super easy ❤ thank you!
All good but you have the straps on wrong. Unless that's the way you like it. But the side of the strip with the two adjustments should be on the inside. For two reasons. The indentations on the top of the strip can act as grip and the longer side with the seven adjustments should be on the outside so the excess length won't interfere with the mechanism..

Nice video. One quick correction. The longer multi slot side of the footstrap goes on the outside. You have it reversed.

How do you fold it for storage
It's discussed at about 5:42 in the video. Basically, remove the knobs holding each hydraulic shock. Then move both shocks back to their storage position secure them back with the knobs. Then, remove knob at the bottom center and pull up the bottom center. It folds up sort of like an ironing board..

With resistance, is there “support”, meaning I won’t just fall back to the ground if not moving?
The pedals do not move unless you push down on them. One pedal has to go down before the other one will go up. I stop and take a break on mine all the time. :)

Hi everyone. I found that if you heat the foot pedal straps up in very hot water for a minute and wear some good grip gloves you can stretch the plastic a bit to fit it over the pedal tabs. Now can someone help me? I cannot find the counter. Where is it located? Paste a link to a video if you know of one please.
The counter is shown in the small display.
@@Jean78578 there is no sensor on the back of the handle like yours has. And no counter on the top in front of the phone holder. Which model has it?

I just used it a few minutes ago. I use it to stay toned - mainly my arms.

Ok well all know theynput a weight limit on things, but in all seriousness, will it hold up to 360lbs?
Officially, it supports 300 lb. I'm a lightweight, so, I can't personally estimate. If you want to buy it without spending as much, just in case it doesn't hold up, Innova sells refurbished models on eBay for far less $.
Is it light or collapsible enough to move to another room or to the patio?
The front bar has built-in rollers. However, it is heavy and tall. So, I wouldn't want to move it around all the time.

Great video thanks. Question, the cylinders are a bit tight (rough) during use even set at position one. Can you lubricate the pistons?
I don't believe the pistons are serviceable. The MaxiClimber site does indicate monthly maintenance:
Lubricate rollers and pulley with WD-40 or silicone based lubricant.

Well, the core piece with the rollers is assembled, but that's about it.

Wonder how long hydraulics last
I've only had mine a couple months. I'll post a comment if my hydraulics have issues. I'm using it for muscle building - very slowly at higher resistance, versus aerobics. So that may affect the life of the hydraulics. But, we'll see..
Mine won't work. Called the company and they sent me a new one, still doesn't work.
What does it not do..?
Mine arrived damaged. I returned it and they sent out a new one. It was also damaged. Their packaging needs revamping. I did send them an email but they haven't responded in over a week which is making me a little nervous because they were pretty good at responded the first time. Also, the battery arrived dead in mine as well. Dents and broken foot pedal. Cosmetic the 2nd time around so hopefully that's all the damage.

The foot strap is difficult to get on. As far as the pedal, I would unscrew it and try again maybe put a little bit of lubricant on it.
