@@tom_something second is sharper, but if you need to clarify further you can use the variation of minute Meredith uses (non-dominant hand's pointer finger up instead of just an open hand)
Love the way you explain things! Subscribed and excited to learn more from you. I’ve been trying to figure out how to sign “10-15 minutes”, or a range of time in that way. Is there a video I can watch that gets into that? Thank you!
Thank you Meredith and crew. Another excellent video to learn from now that my holiday weekend is over. Hope that you and yours had a great holiday as well. Now to Routines in ASL!
Helllllloooooo Ms Meredith , thank you So so much for helping each one us who wants to learn ASL, May God bless you, Btw, you have a lovely face and pretty nails which is important to sign😅🤗 From HAÏTI
Hi thank you for teaching , question what’s the difference between min and secs. They both look the same I guess one you so half and the other you do full finger out . If I explained it correctly
Hi Meredith! Why doesn't "sometimes" go at the beginning, if "time" goes before "topic" in sentence structure? Would it be wrong to sign "sometimes" at the beginning? Thanks for the great videos! 😃
May I ask what form of "meet" that sign is that you make at around the 5:15 mark (in the meet at restaurant) sentence? I've never seen that form of it before, even in your other videos. Thanks!
Also thought of a couple of sentences that might help me, because I'm not sure how to do 11 for time and the "teen" numbers get me (guess like teenagers haha). "My son was supposed to come at 11:00 am but he's always late. It's 12:16 pm and he's still not here." Again, thank you for all that you do!!!
Does she have a video on during or at? As in, during work or while I was at work I did x yz. I know listing and how to do the second part I just don’t know how to indicate the “during” or “while I was at”. Feel free to comment to help me as well if you know
The way I remember is that PM means after noon, and even 12:01 PM is one minute after noon. It only makes sense to have noon use the same letters as the following minute, so 12:00 PM is noon. Sorry if that logic is convoluted, but it's what stuck when I was a kid.
One year late but from my understanding, it's a prompt to communicate you're done signing. For a yes/no question, you would point back to your interlocutor.
For me, second and minute are so close together! I really liked this video though. I have been wanting to know midnight. Thank you!
They are. You can sign second by fingerspelling "sec" too for clarity.
Thanks for asking this, and thanks Meredith for the clarification!
@@LearnHowtoSign Thanks! But can you explain the difference between the two signs? I'm struggling on this one.
@@tom_somethingLifeprint offers a good explanation: www.lifeprint.com/asl101/pages-signs/s/second.htm

Thanx for your Vdos
I rly like ur shirt! 😲🤩
Thank you.
My question is for the restaurant sentence. Why is the ASL way Friday 6oclock meet restaurant you? And not Friday 6oclock we meet restaurant we?
What is the main differnce between seconds and minuetes?
The index finger distance. If the finger move a bit, its seconds. If the finger move further, its mins
Im learning still
What is the difference between second and minute?
??????
What??????
@@Blossomm_xx the sign for "second" looks exactly like the sign for "minute"

noon PM
midnight AM

how can i translate all of this
My brain hurts, but I will learn this stuff!
Omg I need to watch in slow motion
Several have shared they slow down the videos to practice at first then watch it back at regular speed for additional help.

Why does the word "me" repeat in some of the sentences?

I like your puns
Channeling my inner dad jokes.
I was thinking that how to tell time in sign language and found this. 15th April 2024, 1844 hours (Indian Standard Time).
Still Punny 😄🥳
I can't for the life of me see a difference between minutes and seconds when the non dominant hand is flat on both
I know it's hurt to remember all the sign but i am trying🫰❤️
Jesus is coming back! Repent and pray before it’s too late! Jesus loves you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
He does love all of us.
