    Awesome bike and video.
I remember this crazy dude out in Bouquet Canyon, California, back in 1966, that would climb dirt bike hill climbs on a full dresser. As a youngster, I decided I needed this kind of a bike, to pursue all manner of motorcycling. I still do.

I have a 2005 springer I enjoy riding a good bit . but what I really want is a panhead of this years vintage. I was born in 1960 , and I also want either a flathead WL , or an open rockered early 1936 knucklehead . my dads birthday . ive learned after messsing with , riding , and tinkering , I don't care as much for the newer bikes . I like the older bikes because I can work on em myself . I'm not a fan of modern technology on newer vehicles of ANY kind . also its why I have a 36 chevy pickup and a 1971 roadrunner 440 . I can work on them without all the computer mumbo jumbo .

I wonder why there are so few full dress Harley restorations from the 30's through the 60's. There were some beauties back then with two tone paint and matching dyed leather bags and "tasteful" accessories.

And on the "8th" day, God created Harley-Davidson. I can't improve on that!!! I would consider myself truly blessed if this FLH was mine. I hope you still have it, I would never be able to part with it. I have a '76 FLH that I bought in '77 with 350 mi. on it. IT was my rider until I got my '04 FLRCI.

1965, with new offset on the transmission mainshaft, added bearing support in 1970, and all very well capable of the same fucking mainshaft seal to case leak from 1936-1984.
I'm sure more engineering went into "Hi-fi Blue" Paint that year than the "Improved" transmission case for 1970.

Paula Linssen, you are partially correct. 1964 Servicars showed up with electric start. Big twins weren't until 1965 with 12v electrics.
