Previously thought to be extinct, a massive creature attacks a deep-sea submersible, leaving it disabled and trapping the crew at the bottom of the Pacific. @@JennaTilwertz Indeed, there were juveniles found that indicate the adults can get to be far far more massive. It's why sperm whales and others sometimes have pretty brutal battle-scars across their bodies. Seems to be they don't get along well with giant squids.

This movie would of been so much better with the inclusion of acting, human made scripts, functional CGI, actual actors and oh, a competent story telling plot.

Yeah, it's almost like the filmmakers made it that way. I mean, it's not like the shark is CGI or anything, or that there's uplifting, majestic music playing as the shark swims by. Truly, it was a subtle moment.

The glider is pretty advanced and it even detects the time taken for breach to occur but it can't detect a giant squid on the radar or giant shark..... Hmm well I guess we need the element of surprise 😲

Panic will actually make things worse in situations like this. You have to be trained to stay calm in dire situations in real life for people who operate submersibles, professional scuba diving, shipping/cargo boats, and military.

Thien-An Truong I wouldn’t say bad at all because it’s easy to understand it while reading which is perfect.
Anyways, in the movie it’s explained that the squid and megalodon are trapped down there because it’s covered with acid or something like that, so the megalodons were only able to escape due to the submarine passing through said acid. Which means if they would’ve all died down there the shark would’ve never gotten into the open ocean.
Yes he killed and could even a giant full squid almost equal to its size this shows us how much hungry the shark is its hunger never lasts

What makes this scene more tense is the knowledge that real giant squid that size exists. There are Even some that are bigger.
That squid probably weighs 20 tons over a 25 meter length.
This movie has taught me that a squid applying 0.00128 tons of pressure per cubic cm is greater than the 9 tons of pressure per square cm in the Mariana trench (probably greater).
And she has a window with a see through material. Thanks for the physics lesson Hollywood.
