Thank you for sharing the recipe! I use Nature's Garden Fragrances in 90% of my skincare line! I love all the beautiful Fragrances Oils you carry! I do use another company for a lot of my candle scents, because I find that others have some interesting scents that you don't carry! That being said I love both of the waxes you carry for containers and melts. I find they both have awesome scent retention and are very reliable! Thanks for sharing all the great recipes, both for candles and soap/skincare! Jill Gross
You always make the most wonderful videos. Cant wait to make this. Just a suggestion i like it better when you speak in the video its hard to read the writting in white with a white background. Thank you.
We're so glad to hear you enjoyed the recipe! Definitely let us know how it turns out! Thank you for your suggestion regarding our text in the video, we are always looking for more ways to improve. Have a fantastic day! :)
Thank you so much for making these videos! I was wondering if you had a second to answer a question. I was wondering if there was a certain grade of avocado oil you have to use for candles? Could I use the same avocado oil I would get at a supermarket?
Hello Leslie! Yes, you can. I wouldn't recommend an oil like a coconut 76 or a palm oil though as they have higher melt points and can make the wax harder to scoop.
I followed a recipe (not yours) for Scoopable wax, failed twice. I used coconut soy blend. I didn’t add the white powder. Mine both times came out way too hard.
Thank you for reaching out! You can use another carrier oil that does not solidify below room temperature (ex: Coconut-76 and Palm). Also, you can use Pillar of Bliss, but it will be very hard to scoop since it is a harder wax. - Mary NG 🤗
Yes, you will just want to make sure that it is cool enough to pour into the plastic jars. If you are going this route, I would suggest doing just one color. If you did white and pink, they would likely blend together as it is setting up. <3 Melissa NG
Titanium dioxide is used to whiten the wax. Joy Wax is a soy wax blend, and I think it works well for this because it is a creamier wax with a great throw. - Lima NG
Hello! Here is a recipe link for 'Squeezable Wax Melts' (we call it Gel Potpourri)- it is a thinner consistency than Scoopable Wax Melts. www.naturesgardencandles.com/candlemaking-soap-supplies/item/00shigel/-shimmer-gel-potpourri-recipe.html Hope this helps! :) - Lima NG 🌻
Hello Donita! We usually recommend a 3 day cure time. Joy Wax is a container candle wax, so you can use it for both regular container candles or to make scoopable wax. - Lima NG
Oh gosh when you say let's "whip it up" it gets me in the crafting mood
I enjoyed watching the video. I really wish you would show it being used to show the consistency after it sets.
We are glad you liked the video! Thank you for your feedback! We will keep that in mind for a future video.

Whats the shelf life for this product
Can you substitute a different oil for the avacado oil?
Hello Leslie!
Yes, you can. I wouldn't recommend an oil like a coconut 76 or a palm oil though as they have higher melt points and can make the wax harder to scoop.
can i use C3 soy wax in this recipe?
I followed a recipe (not yours) for Scoopable wax, failed twice. I used coconut soy blend. I didn’t add the white powder. Mine both times came out way too hard.
What other kinds of oils would work for this recipe? Also can pillar og bliss be used?

🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️Tengo una pregunta 🙋🏻♀️esto es vela ? Ósea esta mezcla es para ponerlo en el aparato que calienta y da olor en la casa o esto es jabón ?
Hi! It can be used in wax burners. It is similar to a wax melt just a bit softer.
Could I just pour after adding my fragrance/ dye i don’t want a “whipped “ consistency?
Yes, you will just want to make sure that it is cool enough to pour into the plastic jars. If you are going this route, I would suggest doing just one color. If you did white and pink, they would likely blend together as it is setting up. <3 Melissa NG
New sub. Love the video, can you put the scoopable wax in tins or is plastic or glass best?
Yay! We're happy to hear you enjoy our content! We personally like using PET plastic jars when making scoopable wax. :) - Lima NG 🌻
What is the titanium used for? Is soy wax better than joy wax?
