This makes the 993 just beautiful. I see nothing cartoony in this at all. What I like most is that they haven't done 1,000 HP or anything crazy. This is like a Miata - you need to ring it out to get the most out of it. I can attest, if you can drive a Miata fast then you get what it is to be a good driver. Yes, this is far superior to any Miata, I get that. Just saying that this is a great mindset for this build and the company. Hats off to them!

Beautiful in every way, the fact that it sounds like that feels like over indulgence. I like these type of builds because they really do allow us youngins to be curious and appreciate the older models of brands and what they truly meant.

Good Friday Mr Catchpole. I wish I could accurately express just how much I want a 911. They are perfect in almost every way a car guy looks for in a car IMO.
I absolutely loved the 21:9. I have an ultra-wide and its so rare to be able to watch something or someone i enjoy as much as you filling the full thing out.
I saw an old 911 at an intersection doing a sharp left turn at what seemed like 30-35 MPH, that image will be forever burned into memory. Nothing cooler than seeing all four wheels stick to the ground and see the entire body of a car dig into a turn instead of rolling in the opposite direction.
Love the aspect ratio, and loved the car, I'm new to the whole Porsche thing, but after a month of ownership, I don't want to ever have anything else, keep up the good work.

And it didn't cost $$$ My fave was a 72T with 935 flares and a 2.8l RS spec engine with 906 cams and 48 Webers. Pulled 9k rpm with ease. Car was about 2100lbs, easy 300hp, rocket. All Porsche...

Agree. Even NASA had to keep it real. Also, I understand Guntherwerks only makes cars in California yet the hardtop is licensed in Arizona and the topless in Montana. I believe it is because California has strict rules and cars such as Guntherwerks and Singer do not conform. Does anyone know if they can be licensed in the EU or Japan where emission of pollutants and noise are even more strict? Nice video though--and I hope Henry used lots of sunscreen.

Yes the 21x9 ratio is best! California does have some epic tunnels. If you want to have one of the loudest roar from your car. Try going from San Francisco to Oakland crossing the Bay Bridge. The underneath portion of the bridge you’re crossing makes a loud car sounds super nice.
One of the very few cars that still has maintained it's original classic lines yet ever so slightly has evolved not only in performance an handling but with exterior changes as well. All my life I was made to believe that you had to be brand loyal an etc but not only with fashion trends, cars, music, an etc I have since learned I actually love them all no matter where they are from or made unfortunately like most I may never be able to own all things I love so much but it's certainly been really nice getting too see each of those trends evolved into what's new what's hot an what's a must have. With radio,tv,internet an of course personal interaction I see all things coming together in ways we all could have never imagined! I use to think this is my home town, this is my home state, this is my country, an of course this is my world ! Now I realize its our home town, our state, our country, an of course our world ! This is a great time for everyone in our world too see that bigger picture in a new way of helping all our families,friends,an others in this world too come together an utilize these new tools too further all progress in all points, career, education,solution that actually help to avoid further splitting of our world in which we all live together! Sorry for my tangent !
The front end looks like it came off a 959, a nearly 40 year old car which still looks modern. These cars have to be the best looking Porsches I've ever seen.
Fantastic as always Henry and crew, brilliantly stretched and stitched together mixing old with new and as you say these cars need this climate where they are at home and the harder you wring them out the better they get in spades, and your 1 million will soon be at your door, someone here said things like you should be on a major network, i disagree with that comment , you are far beyond any network and miles ahead in content and creation and abilities, yours in raw unfettered content , no watering down here 👍

I am one of those weird transaxleknobs, I have a pristine 944 turbo S and a 924 S projectcar, and I reluctantly have to give this one my nod of purist-approval. That says a lot about what guntherworks did here. Would never buy one, but I can accept its existence 😉
Ah, the 2000's, where engineers kept on trying to get the best pub figures out of normally aspirated engines. You just have to ignore that they only ever made their peak power at 8, even 9 thousand RPM, for one rotation of the crank. And then it redlines. And then you have to get from low revs, with no powe, all the way back to 8 to 9k to get the HP again. For one revolution of the crank. Why did no one ever say to them - build an engine with usable power all through the range. I vaguely recall Nissan actually doing it with one of the 350z revisions. A little less peak power but way more lower down
