    Im just curious,
    Can anyone name or compare another car like the limited which has symmetrical AWD, enough power for daily and long trips, 29MPG avg, 8+in ground clearance, telescope steering, amazing resell value, great safety features, pretty reliable if taken care of, looks like an off road capable vehicle and is about $30K-$33K (depending on extra packages)
    I find it difficult to find other competitors that look and drive as good but for the price. We're talking 2021 here..

      For real. They are tough to beat! Only crap thing with them is the CVT. They have gotten better luckily. We had a 2011 Outback, a 2016 Outback, and now have a 2021 Crosstrek on order. They’re great cars if you do oil changes frequently.

      Cx-30 or CX-5 from Mazda

    • @Marcofrommiami
      @Marcofrommiami 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@KoolMB I have both 2021 CX5 Grand touring ($33K) and 2021 Subaru Crosstrek Limited w/8in screen but no Surround sound or nav package($32.4K). I can tell you there's a difference in both cars. The CX5 has a much stiffer steering wheel, the ride is comfortable if you have the 19in wheels which I do, its FWD (to upgrade to AWD you are looking at $35K+). The infotainment system is a headache to maneuver and i know Subaru's infotainment system is not the greatest but i prefer it over the Mazda's. Doesn't come with weather mats for the price and the front camera system, there's no comparison to Subaru's eyesight system which brakes for you smoothly compared to the CX5. The only thing i would say that ups the Crosstrek on is that it has AVH and the bose sound system is so much better by a mile than the oem radio on the crosstrek. Also, there's just a tiny bit more space on the CX5. Forgot to mention the CX5 has 7.6in ground clearance while Crosstrek has 8.6in. and yes it does make a difference when I need it. On a daily basis i prefer driving the Crosstrek. But overall, the CX5 comes second in my list. I also have a 2020 Volvo XC60 which i highly recommend if you are in range for a 50K SUV. Very fun, elegant and comfortable car to drive.

      @zaphodhead1 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@biancaramirez9067 so at this point I've had it for about a year and a half and I love this car even more than i thought i would. It's a crosstrek limited in horizon pearl blue. I live in the Northeast and it handles mud and snow no problem, especially on my property when my long driveway is covered in snow. It's got lots of room for utility use and great off road when I need it. Its really comfortable on long drives and is just fun to drive overall. I'm officially a subaru guy now. Mechanically there have been no issues at all. I do most maintenance myself and stick with subaru parts like subaru branded oil and filters. It's a really great car. I'm very happy!

      You see, red light is the easiest color light for the human eye to absorb. With a wavelength of 605 nanometers, red-orange lighting is the easiest for the eye to see without tiring, which is important. There’s an in-depth scientific reason as to why, which involves the cones and rods in the human eye, but it scrambles my brain just thinking about it. Basically, if you eyes car look down from the dark road ahead at night, look down at the brightly lit gauges and back up again without with straining or tiring, it makes night driving safer and easier.

    Crosstrek 2.5 or Outlander Sport 2.4 would be perfect for me, acceptable power, compact, economical, very softroad capable, safe, but both brands struggle with reliability( chasing buzzword tech like big players instead of perfecting what they have, poor quality control) both use garbage CVTs and whats worst are not particularly fun to drive, either v6( factory built sleepers like old rav4v6) or at least handling packet options would be nice to see on those

      I don’t know about Subaru, but my mitsu has been great! 2011 outlander sport currently 112,000 miles no issues and the 10 year warranty has never even needed to be used, the only thing done to the car is regular maintenance such as brakes, suspension, fluids, CVT fluid every 25,000 miles, spark plugs. It runs like new. I’ve talked to lots of people with way higher mileage outlander sports, and they say the same as me just regular maintenance and no issues, I haven’t bumped into anyone yet with something negative about the reliability. I was talking to a guy with the same year and model as my outlander sport and he said he has 250,000 miles and no issues what so ever and he said it’s never let him down and that it has been a great SUV. So I would not agree that they are not reliable! That’s just my opinion and my experience, and what I’ve heard from others. I just thought it would be nice to let you know the real reliability from a mitsu owner, ALSO do you really think mitsu would make a such a long warranty if there cars were unreliable and had to constantly shell money out for warranty claims, look at Subarus warranty not even close to mitsu hmm 🤔 I wonder why 😉😂🤣
      PS: also yes it’s not a race car but it was never intended to be one, it is pretty zippy and has enough power and punch to shove into fast moving traffic or to merge and overtake on the highway. And it gets decent gas mileage, as well it’s very capable off road I’m not saying it’s a rock crawler, but it is pretty capable and fun for what it is mine with bigger tires has 10 inches of ground clearance!
      Wow did I write a lot lol 😂 congratulations 👏🏻 if you made it this far!
      Update: Jan 10th, 2022 125,000 miles and still running and driving like new 😏😉😂

      I’ve had 7 Subarus all with over 100,000 miles on them (160,000 km) and only 1 head gasket failure. I sold that car cheap to a mechanic friend and he fixed it and still has it with over 300,000 miles on it and no head gasket issues. As for the CVT, the one Subaru uses is dramatically different from Nissan, Honda, Toyota and the rest. I’ve owned 2 Subarus out of the 7 that have CVTs and I enjoyed the perfectly smooth jerk free acceleration you get from not having gears. If you can’t handle a smooth ride then if you accelerate hard they pretend to shift and feel like a conventional geared transmission. There’s even a manual mode that makes it feel a lot like a DSG. I really don’t get the complaints on CVTs....seems like a lot of people that haven’t experienced them for themselves they just echo the auto journalist and they are the biggest group of idiots.

      The sport model is a disappointment. It’s confusing that they offer it at such a high price yet it lacks led headlight, large screen, upgraded speakers, sunroof rear usb or rear arm rest in the back unless you go to the limited. That’s a lot of stuff saved for the limited. No wonder all the dealers only carry the limited, I never see the sport model. Either the base mode or limited. Really weird refresh from Subaru. The Impreza is a better value if you can deal with limited ground clearance.
