With my 52 G80.. I did not muck about. I just bought a brand new carburetor from Amal for under £300..
What was inside the tank? Was it as much of a horror show as the banjo?
not too bad... ran some fresh fuel through and no silt...but it will deffo benefit from a good clean. All that silt must have formed over quite a period of time!
