- Who would've thought I went to a private catholic school? It was a very...different experience but it is one that I'm glad I did get to experience.

I also go to a private school and the teachers would constantly yell at you for every little thing you did wrong. I remember once I was in grade 2 and I was crying cuz I fell down the stairs and my teacher saw me and literally yelled at me saying “EMILY I WANT TO SEE THOSE TEARS DISAPPEAR “ . Now to think of it what did she expect from a 8 year old falling face flat down a whole bunch of stairs.

Blurry Høuse Øf Trash I go to a private school in Tennessee and our uniforms r polos(no logo) and khaki/navy shorts(have to at least come 1in above the knee) or pants, and our stuff can’t have logos on it, also, on fridays if we pay $2 we can wear “regular clothes”(the length in shorts still applies and nothing to revealing or tight) it’s kinda crazy(for the girls) cuz if our bra strap is showing we have to make sure it is covered up and STAYS that way, even if we can’t help it, but other than that it’s rlly nice😂

I went to a christian privateschool. Although they weren't strict at all. You could swear in class and the teacher didn't bat an eye. But one of the most embarrassing things to happen to me- was in religion class. All year our teacher kept low-key bashing other religions, pointing out how much "better" christianity is. And i am usually known as the shy, quiet girl. But in that class i pretty much exploded. I started yelling, screeching- totally scolding this grown-ass man in front of the entire class. Let me just tell ya, every time he talked about something controversial after that, he'd glance back at me all nervous.

Ditto for EVERYTHING apart from nuns. The blazers at my school are $ 180!! They care too much what colour studs you have in your earlobes or what kind of white socks you are wearing. And we don’t have detention oh nononono, we have a thing called yard guard. What is yard guard? Were you spend all of lunch picking up trash and hat was naaaaassssttttaaaayyyyyyy!! As for make up, well you better hope you have make up wipes! Not to mention we have a different uniform for summer and winter. The winter makes everyone look frumpy with our white loose blouse, knee length skirt, tan tights and brown shoes, oh yeah and a tie! THE SKIRTS ARE SO FREAKIN ITCHY!!!!!

Some Private schools are different though. Like the one I go to, we don't have nuns (even though it is a chalolic one) and bribery is defiantly not an option. We also have a similar dress code like you do, but instead, we can't wear above the shoulder straps, too short shorts, etc when it's a casual day. And uniform.... I feel like it's always the same.😂 REAL expensive! This year I went to get a new jumper (the dress), 2 blouses, a pair of shorts, and a sweater. And it was over 200 bucks! I didn't even get the knee high socks or the gym uniform yet!

I've been to private christian school since elementary and highschool. I agree though, the dress codes the rules, and the teachers were quite strict but playing it safe and sticking to the work schedule helped me survive. I barely had friends, I was the "weirdo" or the nobody wanting to fit in. Lol. Awesome video mate! So relatable. 👍👍😃 👏👏😄

I actually go to a private/prepatory/boarding school, and we're rated #5 in the best private schools of America, though you'd never guess that by first glance. We don't have to follow state rules, because technically our system is run under a different country! (The Cherokee Nation, you'd have to be Native to understand) I hear all these people talk about how private/prep schools are filled with snobby rich kids, but our school was filled with either really smart or really athletic Indian kids. We didn't wear uniforms, we addressed the teachers by their first names, we spoke Cherokee to confuse some of the English speaking teachers, and living on campus was optional, but the place where the boarding kids lived was on campus and looked like a REALLY nice hotel. Actually, we were all a bit wild to be honest! We were allowed to leave campus, we held powwows during school, we wandered the halls if we got finished with work, we explore the underground tunnels on our free days, and we were always holding some silly spirit week and everyone participates in wearing silly clothing! You'd think we all make bad grades because of this, but every year at least six of our Seniors get accepted into Ivy-League colleges, plus, if you make lower than a 'C' you're kicked out, so we're all well behaved and academically inclined but still silly. Twenty years ago my school was considered a delinquent school for rejects, and in the 1800's it was a refugee camp for Indian women and children, and now it's a high ranking school that's extremely hard to get into! Walking into the school you'd never guess it's so prestigious, we're all so crazy and unique in our way, but at the same time very traditional. It's almost hilarious watching outsiders come take a tour of the campus, we either scare them off, or make them REALLY want to get accepted! We don't have nuns or anything, but we have live-in Elders. They're old Indian people who will speak to you in Cherokee and give you guidance in troubling times, we have three of them. My favorite one is Granny, and she hangs out in the Art room and always has butterscotch candies hidden for kids in her moomoo. (I think she keeps them in her bra...) It always saddens me to see so many people talk about how bad their private school experience was, when my school is amazing in every aspect. (Well, besides our Indian chief. Nobody likes him. He's a snob, and attends the public high school's events but not ours, even though we try our best to please him. It's like if Dumbledore attended Durmstrang's wizarding events and not Hogwarts', even though the Hogwarts students tried to please Dumbeldore but he still ignores them.)

I went to a public middle school, and we had uniforms, which was pretty dumb. I have some friends who went to Catholic High School, and they all seemed to like it. most of them are still Catholic, and 2 of them even became teachers there.

I go to a private Christian school. The uniform includes: blazer,high knee socks, ankle socks, pe socks, summer dress, tunic, white button up shirt, skort, another white button up shirts, pe shirt pe shorts, a academic jumper pe jumper, spray jacket, hat,bag, excursion bag,house shirt and specific hair accessories that must be bought from the college shop. It’s a lot. And your dress has to go past your knees, socks can’t be rolled down, no pulling the shorts and skort up past mid thigh, no makeup and your hair must be up. It costs a lot of money over 950 dollars! And there is even a dress code on free dress!

I've been in a private school all my life (I don't think I did during pre-school) and it's going to be my 5th year in my current school. I must say, all these expensive stuff is so true. I am studying in an Asian school and it's so fudging expensive. Let's say my uniform costs about $30 (not my currency so I converted it) and since I have two other sisters we'll have to make it 3. It's over all $90, and of course we need extra more! Then comes school supplies, god we really have to stay in budget when we buy school supplies ($130). We also need to pay for enrollment fee ($3300) and fees from last school year 'cause I graduated ($2000). Our school celebrates every year so we have foundation day that costs about $25. There's also other extras which I don't remember how much. We are not rich but can't believe we can afford such thing. I was about to transfer but naaah. That's how much it costs to be in a private school :)
UniicornZone seriously? That's soo cheap! My school uniform was like $1000 (Australian money), I don't remember the enrolment fees, and school fees are about $1000 every term, probably even more (about $4000 every year) and then I have two brothers so that's like triple the money.
I went to a private school from 2016-2017 when I was 11 and 12 years old. In the uniform shop, you have the basic things like 2 different blouses and 2 different skirts (one for winter and one for summer), and PE gear. But we also had to have school bags that the school approved (which was a big, bulky
School bag with the logo on the front), ties, and a school sports bag, and all this is compulsory! And all together would cost you roughly $700 NZD!!!
I once had this sub in elementary where she closed ALL the windows in the classroom (it was summer/spring) and told us we weren’t allowed to drink water until class was over- lmao ofc one of “those” boys drank water while she wasn’t looking. But I remember class being so long bc she would stop after every paragraph to tell a story.

Yo chili I went to go see u yesterday ^_^, but there was ALOT of crazy things that happened to me in catholic school. One time during the winter it snowed a good 6 inches and when we came back after our day off we still had a lot of snow in the parking lot. So around that time is was nearing Christmas so my friends and I would help the janitor out since he's old with stuff around the school. It was fun cause we got out of class and get free snacks. So we skipped Italian class to help him move some Christmas props into the church. We carried them threw the parking lot and into the church. While doing this one of my 5 friends who where with me deiced to hurl a snowball at my back. After I was struck in a matter of seconds my friends and I were having an a lot snowball fight in our school parking lot while we should've been in Italian class. The funniest part was the class they we were supposed to be in had windows that over looked the parking lot and the kids who sat by the windows saw this all go down. And we got away scot free. I'm now going to be a freshman in a catholic highschool with the same friends so I could only hope more fun stuff happens.
I went to a private middle school and one time there was a Mercury incident at my school and I had to stay there for 2 days with no food because the inspecting for any mercury traces on any items
I can really relate to the strict dress code thingy, but those troublesome stuff you mentioned didn't really happen while I was studying and the school I studied at is good at practicing rule enforcement. My brother gets into trouble quite often and they do the proper measures to him.
I love code lyoko! and I've gone to the private school my church ran and my dad and mom teach at. we got past the no dancing rule by doing a flash mob at our prom replacement, "junior-senior banquet".
I go to a private school and we don't have uniforms but a strict dress code. This year we got a new principal and on the first day she stated she wasn't fond of the dress code and wanted to change it but couldn't. That Friday was a dress up day so al of the girls were in dresses and she dress coded at least 20 girls for having dresses that were "too short" when most of them were dress code abiding and not even close to being against the rules. To make it even worse she refused to measure the dresses to see if they were against the dress code or not and all of the girls had to change closes but still be dressed up.

The high school I'm going to next year has a strict uniform code. Everyone has to wear either a black or white polo shirt, black trousers, leggings or jennings, black converse shoes, a cardigan, the school's blazer and for hoodies you can only get a black one and it has to have no logos or emblems on it.

I'm so sorry if anyone loved private Catholic school but.. IT WAS THE WORST YEAR OF MY LIFE! So my family has been moving a lot in this little time period and at once (lasted 2 years). so the nearest school was a private Catholic school and I hated it. I used to go to public school and it was awesome but I hated this! my gold necklace with a few diamonds in it (my grandpa bought it for me cuz he be ballin XD) taken away and my parents had to go in and get it back from them! But yeah.... I HATED it

I went to a private primary school and the uniform was so strict. In the summer you had to wear a long red and white stripped dress, white socks, black shoes and the school blazer. In winter you had to wear a white shirt, red tie, red plaid skirt, navy socks and black shoes. The knot of the tie had to be a certain size and you had to have your house badge on your blazer at all times. No makeup was allowed and all long hair had to be tied back whether you were a boy or a girl. Also boys had a different tie to the girls. And you weren't allowed to take in a packed lunch unless you had food allergies.
I loved private school, I was legit friends with all 12 people in my grade XD
But the private school wasn't strick. We would dye are hair, shave it, wear flip flops, we were *too chill*

We couldn't bring our phones to class or in the hallway or like anywhere so kids started wearing hoodies and putting there phones in the hoodie and in the hallway since I was the only one with that hoodie that day my bf gave me her phones and someone bumped me and I dropped them by a teacher so I dropped my binder and picked them up I was shaking because if u got in trouble u had to stay after school detention and I'm a good student around the teaches but anyways my bf was laughing at me so hard because of that

sameeee, except we are a prebyterian school and don't have nuns and stuff, but we had to wear ties, black stockings and blazers which would cost around $200 alone in our winter school uniform (there was a summer uniform and winter uniform) since prep.
I'm in a private school and my mom bought me a kinda oversized uniform so I don't need to waste money so props to u mom.

I’m so lucky that I go to a public school. (Public schools are really good in my area, and private schools are kinda overcrowded like I went to one for prekindergarten and the kids in the older grades had to share classrooms)
My old Catholic school was the same. We had nuns too and it was also strict. Except we didn't have corruption there but there were student who were kids of the teachers who are close to the nuns so some of those student used to get additional marks on their tests.

Uniforms are intresting. At school in my high school, we had uniforms, but the school did a half job at enforcing it, since hoodies were used as a way to get around dress code restrictions most of the time.
I go to a Catholic School and my uniforms are only 30 bucks. The girls were a jumper with a white button down shirt. The boys had to were a school polo shirt (much cooler then the girls) with the school name on it. The boys were stuck wearing that while the girls got to choose either from the jumper or the boys uniform. And we all have to wear navy blue knee socks (girls) with navy blue shoes. We keep getting a new vice principal every time a the old one retires they were all mean but only 2 love me. I legit get to go to the office and help the principal and vice principal with stuff the need to do before the day starts so I always get to school early to help out

I went to a private school just for kindergarten that had your same dress code chilly, and I had my hair down the whole year and never got in trouble for it.
I went to a private catholic school too, it honestly wasn’t that strict, the main differences were: better cafeteria food (from restaurants), uniforms and church every Thursday, also religion class

My private catholic school doesn’t have nuns in the building. Once a month, we go to the convent and bake cookies for the sisters. Our rules are not really strict and no teacher has ever taken a sweatshirt from a student, we just have to drop them off at our lockers after class or put them in our backpacks. We can wear our hair (as long as it’s not dyed) anyway we want with any color headbands or hair ties. Our uniforms are polos and skirts. I’m pretty lucky that the catholic schools in my city are really laid back.
Weirdest thing about our uniforms is that our school colors are orange and grey so our uniform tops are orange!

I go to a charter school, we're pretty uptight but we don't have a uniform. I'm happy that I'm there because it's nice going to a smaller school, but some of the rich kids can bribe the school. One kid was a drug dealer and he never got in trouble because his parents gave huge donations to the school
Sounds like our school x) I wish we didn't have uniforms. I would've still had my hoodie (even though it might've been small considering I was a kid) and I wouldn't have the memory of a nun yelling at me for a good 10 minutes.
I went to a small private Christian school in the U.S and I sympathize with your pain on the hoodies when it gets cold. At my old school no one wanted to pay 50$ for a hoodie so a majority of the students just didn't care and wore hoodies or jackets from home when it got cold. What made it worse was that in a lot of classes there were no heaters so when winter came around a lot of the time it was just as cold if not a little colder inside as it was outside ,either that or they had the air conditioning on not sure which was worse. The teachers eventually had enough of it and held an assembly about wearing the proper uniform when it got cold. When they went around asking if people had any questions on the uniform this is one kid actually raised his hand and called them out on there bullshit saying and I quote "Maybe if you actually lowered the price's more kids would be in uniform" Pretty much every kid in that building clapped they eventually changed the "no hoodies but ours" rule to you can wear your own hoodie as long as its a solid school color and has no logos when it hits 50 and below
This is funny because this is what it’s like in a public school where I live lol.
