Nicely done video. It's tough to shoot flat track motorcycle racing and this was particularly well done. I raced flat track (professionally) from 1970 to 1975. I raced all over the Midwest but never made it out to Knoxville ... Too bad. It looks like the kind of hard groove track I liked (a little like a big Santa Fe Speedway) ... or maybe like Clarksville MI ... Anyway, good memories ... Thanks for posting ...

Joe, where did you get this footage? A buddy of mine participated in a few of these races that aired on WWOS and was hoping to catch some of the footage. I don't suppose you have any from Louisville Downs from September 1970 or Terri Haute, Indiana in August 1977 or Duquoin, Illinois in July/August 1981 do you?
In the 70's flat track racing was the ultimate rush all-gas wide-open little lever with the compression release..Bultaco #1..🎉
