Clifford Brown's Cherokee solo is so classic. Glad to see Arturo and Chad honoring him by playing it.
Ahh yeahh
1:35 the lick
I love Arturo Sandoval and his rendition of Cherokee! Love hearing you play with him.
Even after nearly 70 years that Brownie solo they pay homage to as a head is still astonishing. How Clifford could play something so melodic and structured at that speed is crazy. Plenty of versions out there but this solo will never be beaten.
Arturo is a musical genius, thanks for posting this LB.
He can definitely do more than anyone on paper, that's for sure. He has just about every category mastered in playing. I don't think there's a solo you can write that he can't play.
Two of the world's best🙌🎺🎷🙌. Thank you!🎵🎶🎹🎻🥁.
Thank You, Sandoval, for hanging a Cross on the Trumpet.
5:54 salt peanuts, there's no escape! I'll never get tired of it though xD
Me either. Catch the Laura quote?
My favorite sax player!!!!! 🔥🔥

Among my faves. Branford, Ravi, Chris Potter, Eric Alexander, Joe Lovano, Jerry Weldon, Doug Lawrence, Elias Haslanger and Chad LB
