    I think you nailed it on the review. I love my Endorphin Pros, but I only use them when I know I will be running fast. Maybe now compare the Adios Pro 2 to the Metaspeed Sky’s.

    What is your favourite(s) race shoes and which shoes would you use for say a 5km road race to full marathon?

  • @Dussen
    @Dussen 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    Great comparison! Endorphin Pro 2 is the super show that works best for me. Probably because it, just as you pointed out, feels a bit more like a traditional racing flat, however with the benefits of a high stack carbon plated. For half marathons or longer races the Endorphin Speeds are fast enough for me. :)

    Yo!! Thanks for another great Super shoe battle! I ran a marathon this past Saturday and the Adidas adios Pro 2 and smashed my PB by 25 minutes! I'm 46 and ran a 3:09 Marathon which should easily get me into Boston with over 10 minutes under the BQ time! I'm super excited and I bought the adios Pro 2 because of your initial review on it! Also the day after the marathon I got married and because the adios Pro 2 is so forgiving of a shoe I have yet to have any major Doms 😁😁. Thanks again for the great shoe reviews!!❤️

    Any supination issues in the Adios Pro 2? I saw another reviewer (Ben Parkes) say the medial flare was forcing his foot to strike on the outside and he had to consciously prevent his ankles rolling.

      I supinate with both feet at foot strike but try to correct it so it’s a little more neutral. With these shoes it is basically impossible to overpronate. These shoes made me supinate very aggressively. I wouldn’t wear these shoes on the track or any course with lots of turns. If you’re running in a relatively straight line you’ll be okay. The shoes are so close to being amazing. I love how stiff it is. It is great for slightly larger runners

I've thought that at first about other Adidas shoes too, though, but then somehow the heel stops getting in my way as much after some more miles. So maybe that'll happen with the AP2 as well. @@kofuzi kinda...I understand their Greek think but you can't just butcher the language to suit a particular mindset. Why not just spell it the way they want it pronounced (nikey, nykey etc). And also, I know most don't particularly pay attention to what is happening outside the US but the British once colonized almost half the world and as such the reading and writing of the English language was standard. But what's funny, for instance, some people look at Saucony and say sock- cony but don't say sock- sage for sausage. Ok thats enough for my little rant😀🙂😄

      @@raya472 Why would anyone say “Sock-sage” for sausage when there’s not a hard “c” in the word as there is in Saucony? I agree with the idea of making a concession to the way a company pronounces its own name, which in their case either reflects their own language or that the brand name is derived from --such as “Nike” the Greek goddess. But if you respect the non-butchering as you (and I) do, why would you require that it be spelled to accommodate English speakers only, and especially those who don’t know the cultural reference? By the way, Saucony is a Japanese word and most Japanese words have fairly equal emphasis on all syllables compared to most Western European languages. Without knowing any Japanese you can hear that pretty well just listening to the language. So it should be pretty easy. We both know English spelling is absurdly inconsistent compared to other languages so it’s a lost cause to expect it to ever be very phonetic! Cheers Martha
