Rob Cross will be nowhere near Premier League unless he gets to at least the Final of the Worlds. Smith will probably still be ranked in the top 4 so will get a place. De Sousa and Van Den Berg should be nailed on now.
Michael has to defend a lot of money from the world final two years ago. Smith has to reach the final of the Worlds yet again otherwise he has no chance because he would get outside top 4 as a result.

Well he's basically done a Rob Cross - Remember there were murmurs about this guy coming through then suddenly, PDC ranking wins and BANG world champion - It's a very similar story. I wish him all the best as I lived in Spain and I know how big soft tips are (every Spanish bar has one) but I had a proper board in my pub and it scared the LIFE out of them. So it'll be a big boost for all the players in Portugal and Spain to give it a try - anything is possible.
Feel sorry for him theres no crowd there but that may have helped him win it. Fair play to the guy. We need mvf to be a dominant force again tho because since he dropped off averages have not been as high and peoole dont have the same hunger to knock him off his pedestal. That being said each tournament is open so for a neutral it makes a great watch
