David Phelps and Maggie Beth have the most amazing and anointed tenor voices. Callie, his and Lori's first child has an exceptional voice as well. I get a blessing from our Lord Jesus Christ everytime I listen to David Phelps singing. God has truly given him such a unique talent. David uses it for our Lord Jesus Christ.
As an Aussie, I was privileged back in 2003 to be at the Sydney Opera House to see David Phelps alongside the Gaither Vocal band. David was amazing especially with the song 'These Are They' which bought the house down. The wonderful former wild child of Gospel Russ Taff, was also there alongside Guy Penrod and Bill Gaither of course.Also Richard Burger the wonderful gospel pianist. This was for the 'Australian Homecoming' presented by Bill and Gloria Gaither. Nearly three hours of such wonderful music. I have never forgotten it. I hope the next time Bill comes back he will bring David again plus the incredible Isaacs!
No one even comes close to DAVID PHELPS. Every time I hear him sing he touches the depths of my heart. He is true to his calling. GOD'S messenger to this hurting world. He is a phenomenal talent and a humble and genuine CHRISTIAN family man. He was encouraged to go to other genres but knew his calling was from Christ. He has done some beautiful opera and classical songs but he has stayed true to his calling. I suggest you have a listen to 'HE's Alive' preformed at a tent revival. It is another one that will blow you away.

Most of David's videos that you have watched are preformed in a barn on his farm in Middle Tennessee. He holds a Labor Day (first weekend in September) called the Labor Day Barn Bash. It is a whole weekend of singing and eating and video taping. He also, holds a Christmas Bash from Thanksgiving, fourth Thursday in November, which I have attended and it is unbelievable. And the entire family is just as nice and approachable and any person on the South. I means his house is less than 200 feet from the barn. It is worth the trip.
Maggie Beth was 17 during this performance. This was performed in his Barn. Seeing this live in the Barn is unbelievable! David and Gloria Gaither wrote this song for him to sing with Maggie Beth. Another song from this concert is "We Shall Behold Him", absolutely incredible. David has a way of telling a story in song like no one else. Another song from this DVD is "Freedom", absolutely outstanding.
