This is my first fusion fragment that I was able to get!! I just got the 5 I needed from the arena event. It's beautiful to see. I almost want to cry! T_T I know he'll make a HUGE impact on my account. I did my pulls for the summon rush last night and I did NOT pull a natural legendary, even after pulling 6 sacreds. T_T Kind of gutted about that, dang. The only legendaries I have are the free ones that Plarium gave out - UDK and Ronda. .. But I am *so* happy for Pythion! He'll help so much for me in Spider and other areas, for sure!!
Just a side note, if you are running on auto, you can click on a particular enemy and it will target them without having to take it off of auto.

I spent ~6 hours over two days pulling 4900+ MYSTERY shards to get Pythion. A couple of reasons for the mystery shards; I had 16k of them, Plarium wanted too many $hards for me to use Sacreds, and I figured after getting the 5 fragments that I would probably spend another couple of hours on the other 3 events anyway. Oh yea, I was low on silver too after the first artifact event. I kind of figured I'd screwed Plarium a little using junk mystery shards.
You never screw plarium. It's always the other way around. Congrats btw
@@jeremims9044 Ok, I turned almost worthless mystery shards into 20 fusion fragments that cost me only time. What else can I do with 16k of them? And it did free me up for the rest of the week :) I think a lot of other players might be in a similar position, which is why I posted. Lots of mystery shards vs doing an event. Which takes more time or resources?
@@paultruzzi911 I did exactly the same thing. Could have waited and done later events for the last 10 frags, but i had 10k mystery shards and plenty of time, and freed up the rest of my week. So you're not the only one lol.
As a dad who has a 6 year old son, It's amazing that with the mountains of toys they have, turning dads into their own playground facility while trying to work seems to be their favorite. 😄

This was one of the hardest Fragment summons ive done as a F2P in the last 2 years that being said i was able to do it quite easy and hes waiting to be pulled next CvC or next fusion for the summon rush.

Best part of me getting Pythion was that i pulled two maneaters, two coldheart and Duchess from the 10x as a free to player. There's allllllllot of grinding to do now but man, my account just exploded with good value. I'm so happy despite the fact this fusion and that idiotic point increase in the summon rush left me with zero resources :')
I recently threw a bunch of spare life steal gear on my Pythion. If any others have pythion that are not quite hitting unm yet but have a nm counter team he is very very good for a 1:1 counterattack team. The a1 can bring a missed warmaster proc back to full, the damage reduction helps you go a lot further in the rounds, and the revive brings your team right back into the same rotation as well, with the strengthen to help keep them alive to get new buffs up. I have mine one speed slower then the cb so he instantly removes the 2nd aoe debuff round making it affinity friendly and has it up to stop the stun, set it as #1 prio, 3 turn cd while booked. I'm 3 keying unm and one keying nm now with it. I still have 3-4 star, 17-5 star gear, rest 6 star pieces on my champs.. He was easier to gear cause of no acc required. I only have between 50-75% crit on all the champs currently. For me I dont really want him in my cb long term, but he was an easy plug to make unm possible for me for the time being.
I've gone all in on my ftp to fuse this champion because I figured it would be a carry for a ton of content with a weaker roster. Gonna be close on silver for the final artifact event tomorrow.

I can't tell you how many of my work meetings have been interrupted by our children. My daugher is infamous for ubloading a #2 in the bathroom attached to my office, then yell for me to come wipe her.
My boss has paused a few meetings because his kids were too quiet and he knew they were up to no good. It usually involved painting with laundry detergent

I got him early. F2p and my first fusion event I've won. He was game breaking to say the least. im running him as debuffing priority so real high speed to keep high uptime on the block debunks. He completely broke my account and progression. I went from being unable to collect the first chest of hydra to 1 keying hydra instantly. Also he pushed my account to finish doom tower fir the first time. He also pushed my account to spider 25 dragon 25 and IG 25 all in the first day. I'm now making my way up doomtower hard and it's so much easier then my attempts on that a week ago or so. Just an amazing champion. He pairs really well with udk I've noticed if you don't have any good multi buffers. Definitely worth 5 star

I like his a1 and a2 way more than duchess. Being able to heal up is very valuable. And full cleanse plus block debuffs and a heal on 3 turn cd is amazing of course.

Hey Ash, so the Pythion event is ending and I'm 2 fragments away from getting him.do you know if his pieces will be available anywhere else in the game?
I just pulled Duchess on the 10x and finished Pythion along with it. Once the missing book for my recently built Kantra is found and I got enough books for those two in a few weeks, I'm kinda exited to see what Pythion + Duchess + Krisk (for extend and ally protect) could do as a combo in terms of damage reduction.

Hey Ash, I am newer to the game Pythion is my first fusion event. I did not make it to 100. Will there be some other event or other way to get the remaining shards or am I just SOL on this one?

Hey Ash, what would you suggest putting Pythion in for a blessing now that Brimstone requires Accuracy????
This champion has been game changing. I went from not even being able to do 1m total damage on Normal Hydra with all 3 keys to hitting 2.5m with a single key .. and I dont even have my Pythion fully leveled or any masteries past the white level yet. Absolutely insane.

That was a fun and useful overview of the champion. I am 16-17 months in, no Duchess, so Pythion is going to get put straight to work on my account. I hope you have a great time at the movies with your boy.
Don't worry about Charlie cameos, dude. We all know you're a dad, so seeing the kid every once in a while just proves you're living life just like the rest of us! My kids are largely past the age of randomly running into whatever I'm doing and getting all up in my business, but I remember the days! And, if I'm honest, I kind of miss the interference sometimes.

Just curious Ash, why didn't you just target Arbiter during your auto-battles when you where showing the Arena teams? I assume you know you can target enemies even if you are using auto.

With a Duchess in the mix, Candy is a REALLY strong option.

small side note, Cupids + Venus, think his counterattacks stack up the most, imo put him in savage / cruel like full damage set for hydra, instead of relentless

rewatching this vid again and there is 1 reason to build ACC for pythion, if you choose brimstone for his blessing (which i did for demon lord). brimstone/smite can be resisted if he has too low ACC...

I like the arena build, but do not have good bolster (ftp). Will prob go with protection/stoneskin instead.

I'm on track to do 95 shards so basically I did everything but missed 1 dungeon divers. So excited to have those shards sit in my vault taunting me for eternity and no way to earn more, so much love for this awesome game!

BTW did you know u don't have to take it off auto to kill a specific enemy? Leave it on auto but click on Arbiter and they will all prioritize her. That's how I do all arena fights.

I'm kinda irritated still that because they ramped up the requirements again I had to pick one account and focus (and partially cause where it is in things like running dungeons running the game/RSL for 24-48 hours straight at one point) but so far - I should be able to do Dragon (the one thing that account can run at 20) and PvP (less than 90 points left), the question mark that is going to make or break short of a miracle win in Dragon tournament is that last artifact enhancement. If it was the 4000 points or less most old ones were it'd be way less a question, I'd have him already if they had kept the 15 shards closer to 3500 points - but I should be able to get him still. The other 2 have Helicath, this one needs a boost and this video kinda validates my choice to go for him on the other account - especially in that lower end of arena where most of what I face is 'who's UDK tanks best with/without a reviver'. I may wait to pull him just cause a lack of lego books and maybe some ability to get the next fusion (not likely cause the average is 12 days between them and my resources are almost entirely depleted but I can dream), but he'll be my next 60 and I'm thinking him, UDK, Scyl, and Mountain King much as I'd like a Decrease DEF might be enough to either scare people away from even fighting, or survive long enough to make them quit. To say nothing of maybe adding enough mitigation to get over a few humps and be able to just run all the 20 dungeons and improve my CB team in place of UDK or possibly someone else (since he is kinda still my Decrease Attack champ)

Thats what i see ppl talkin like passive from Duchess is better couse there is no limitation well there kinda is. If it would say take any hit and not just AOE then yes no limitation but some one like Brakus...(a3 i think) Mouthen King you know that doesnt attack with aoe at some point and has extra turn gear on them. It wont activate but with buffs if you have them on no matter what attack he will block it damage ya know. So i think its 50/50 on that one.

I was lucky to pull out of shards and it’s not already on full potential though it’s almost the strongest I have at the moment.

I am 5 shards away from this guy, and I really hope I don't have to take this into the artifact enhancement event. I'd rather just win dragon or arena, and I have a good chance at both.
I have played him already at 60 on my son's account, and he's awesome. He's in the arenas already along with UDK, Hephraak, and Tomb Lord and they're just decimating the opposition. His account went from level 39 to 51 during the fusion and from 2 60s (Hephraak and Tomb Lord) to 6 (Pythion, UDK, Fellhound, and Fahrakin the Fat), major gains and from bronze 1 to gold 1, all in just 2 weeks time. None of them are even fully ascended yet, but they're killing it everywhere, and when they do top out, it's always because they're not booked yet, or not fully ascended or because the gear isn't awesome, and not at all because he doesn't have the right people.
My question is does Pythion pair well with Seer or does Seer’s Karma attack work against Pythion’s passive? I know I have a hard time keeping Seer alive while I stack up the buffs so I was hoping his passive would help with this.

Was actually skipping this fusion (have 3 Duchess now), and pulled him with ancients Friday. Was going for Brogni. So, "Bring your kid to work day" has to be pretty boring for the little man.

I wonder how many rounds a team can go if there is, Pythion, Venomage, Lifebane, SkullCrusher, and Dutchess on the same team with Stalwart gear on everyone.
60 day old account. I got him last night and he took me from dragon 17 to dragon 25 overnight with half his gear only at lvl 12. I have him in a mediocre relentless set for now.
I dont use mine for arena, but I have mine in 6pc protection with 250+ speed and pushing 100k hp and almost 4k def. He holds up pretty nicely in doom tower hard floor climbing and I used him for 2 boss fights in hard doom.tower so far. He doesn't disappoint but I still think helicath was better. Didn't play during brogni, was on a 3 year break during his release but I know helicath did soooo much for my account once I got him.
Pulled him via shards the day he dropped, I'm 5 frags away from pulling my second copy right now. I conder myself a newer player, I'm on day 220ish and he made a huge difference everywhere.
Interesting. I wasn't aware they were available from shards before the main event was over. Would seem counter productive to getting people to finish the summon 🤔
@@Mr_Mcfeely I also pulled an Akemtum from a shard as soon as the summons event went live.
@@MthrFknMike akemtum is expected as he's not part of an actual summons event. Akemtum was part of another cluster of Champs that dropped in the pool at the same time Pythions event went live.
@@Mr_Mcfeely yeah I was just not expecting to pull either of them, especially since I pulled Akemtum in my first 10 pull of voids and Pythion in my second 10 pull of ancients.

I'm most surprised no provoke champ and still was able to do that much damage on hydra. Maybe I can just forgo the provoke champ and focus more on damage/healing.
Great video! Champ seems great. Thankfully I managed to get all the fragments, but going to wait until the next cvc to summon him.... or the next fusion. I'll decide later.

I'm a fairly new player but I said I have to get him. I grinded spent a few bucks on summons and man he is so worth it. He boosted my account immensely. Before him I could only do Dragon 14. Now I can do Dragon 20 100%. So happy I went for him
