He's my second 6* champ after Ronda. My Artak is a heavy hitter with 100 +53 Speed. He's been a game changer for me as helped me get deeper into the dungeons. I built him quickly in the Castle on Nightmare. I was able do him and Ronda as a team on the last two Brutal campaigns. He and Ronda just knocked down the Demon Lord in the last campaign quickly.
Hey Ash, a suggestion for your spider team, very budget. Use Wendarin to open with freeze, then go Skraank with burns, use Artak with Dogs of War, use your cold heart with Heartseeker to deplet turn meter, and Kymar (you can use a Renegade here) reset skills and repeat this. It's a sub 30s run for you.
Just wanted you to know that I’m changed my piece of trash Artak and built him as you suggested. Speed, Hp and Acc. Big difference. I took the spider to lvl 22. Ice golem to lvl 25 and lvl 2 on hard. Thanks for all your input. Rock On.
Artak was my first Lego champ. I started playing right when he came out. I have built him with almost 80k hp, almost 100 % crit rate and around 100% crit dmg (wasn't intended, jut got a triple roll) . Speed and accuracy are on the low side BUT... Artak doesn't need that much to be of use. His passive gives him oodles of extra speed, so much in fact that he often hits first on the second round (because that bonus is still there). Same goes for accuracy. I am at spider Hard 2 now and it still works fine with just 190 speed and 215 acc. I will have to increase the acc soon though
My setup for Spider 25 is Kavalax, Artak, Mordecai, UDK, and Tundra. I get a 56-sec run. I set Artak's A3 to go first then Mordecai's A2 on every round and let it go from there. I got through to Hard Stage 6 with the same setup.
Good video bro, I never knew what you defined in this as it pertains to ATK. I noticed you didn't like the book layout for upgrading skills (all went to the first ability); do each book independently (alone) and it should randomly hand out the upgrades whereas when you do multiple books together whichever skill it chooses, all those books will go there (that can).
I just got Artak up as my magic affinity 6* for the Arbiter quests and he allowed me to push through and get a mostly successful spider 20 team. I have Sicia, Artak, and Tyrant Ixlimor all at 60 and Skraank at 40, and have Drexthar waiting to open during a champion chase. No shortage of HP burners for me now. I have been pairing him with another burner to make sure as many spiders as possible are having the debuff. Atm Tyrant is going slower than Artak so he applies the burns second unfortunately, but it still works out. They have the same cooldown timers on their HP burn aoes for me. A couple weeks ago, I was lucky to get consistent spider 15, and now there is about a 90% success rate for 20 at around 2 minutes. Demytha was a huge part of that as well. She pairs well with Tyrant's ally protect buff. The 20 team is Pythion, Demytha, Tyrant, Artak, and Coldheart.
Yeah, my first build on him, geared and booked, is 70k HP, 3750 Def, 216 Speed, and 278 ACC. I'm keeping my eye out for slightly better gear, but I have in Perc, Div LIfe, and Immortal gear and he allowed me to one key my first Hydra dungeon first trial run with him.
If you pair artak up with deliana(hp/Crit build) and sinesha he completely wipes the floor with anything you throw him at. I'm glad I watched this video before I built him because he is insane with this build style.. my deliana has 45k HP after boosts and sinesha's a3 makes all allies have the same hp value as the champ with the highest HP. At lvl28 no ascensions he did 1.76m DMG to CB on his own.
Thanks for the tips on Artak. Mine is lvl 50, 5 star ascended but his power level is a VERY sad 7900... I knew i was doing something wrong. Gonna take advantage of the free kit removal and play around with perception and speed parts Edit: his power level is now a solid 22,000 💪
11:17 Mordecai also can't weak hit from affinity because it's not a hit. I'm giving the crown to him as best epic burner because he'll hp burn through poison cloud in hydra. I had to give my Artak a Relentless set because I don't have the best gear yet, being new and all. But, good thing is that I've got 4 or 5 complete 6 star sets of Relentless and the stats are really good. Just need some more SPD and ACC, but I'm sure that once I upgrade all of his gear from lvl 12 to 16, it's going to drastically increase his stats. Plus, I just barely started actually using glyphs since good gear has been a slow drip for me, but just by using HP% glyphs on all 6 pieces of gear I got an extra 24% HP, that's a massive upgrade! I'm hoping that in another month or so, I'll have him set to the stats that I'd like to have. Thanks for the character guide Ash, these videos are super useful for new players like myself!
Hey Ash, I watch your videos all the time. You have helped me so much with my raid account so much. I just cracked Elder Skarg from a sacred shard, and I was hoping you could do a spot light on him and maybe a really good build for him.
Ash, Artak and Supreme Galek are crazy good. I'm currently trying to find a speed where Artak starts off slower, Galek places his burns first, Artak activates with A2, his speed increases because of passive to overlap galek, A3 to place his burns, Galek activates...... It's such a crazy pair if someone had them both running at like 300+ speed in hydra. I've ran through spider 25 in 1:09 recently with the duo, and that wasn't even with the tune I described above. Mine had Artak still not over lapping Galek to cause Galek to activate into mostly nothing at that point
Got a dumb type Q. how exactly c. rate works? Basicly, there`s no point to over-pump it? Does stat. C. Rate value equals to %? I mean 150 C. Rate means 150% crit. hit chance? I`m confussed. There`s like tons of content in Raid + Loadz of crucial infos, multipliers and mechanics You can`t find in game or official site.
I'll go ahead and try that combo of Apothecary+ Dhukk + Artak, but what about Dark Elhain? Wasn't Dark Elhain especially designed for Ice Golem?.and here's an interesting "try-out" using a team of all freeze specialists against Ice Golem. Would it work? I don't have any Legendaries with that Synergy, such as Pyxniel or Gilseah Soul Guide, or Wurmlym Frosting, BUT , other than Dark Elhain, I've got Frozen Banshee, Grave Chill Killer, Icebound prospector, Frostskin, Hellfang Rotting Mage, and War Priest. Now, I know, weak, low HP, probably won't survive, but if I take them to 50, build them with as much HP , Defense and Resistance as possible, would they get me past stage 13 (I'm practically stuck at 13 in every dungeon.)

My spider team is now Artak/Geo burn team with Helicath to block damage, scyl in relentless to stun and revive if needed and ronda in relentless to fill the last spot (though looking to relpace her with Septimus once he is built out)
I have very similar team for spider, only instead of Skraank and Kymar I use Armiger and Visix for TM reduction. Runs usually take 1.5 - 3 minutes. But can't get past stage 22, affinity problem I guess, even tho it shouldn't be.
I have him paired with my Sicia on Spider 25. Same as you he is not fully booked yet, and he definitely could use a bit more speed, but with him and Sicia coming in and absolutely wrecking Spider in the first turn (I open with Artaks A3, then follow with Sicias A2 and Artaks A2, then my RG comes in to land a smack) it's a reliable sub-1.5 minute run (Record time was 35 seconds). Previously I could barely get 100% reliability
Yep - he's done the same for my account. I built as much speed as I could, back before the bug fix. But he's stayed super useful. Pushed me into hard dungeons from about the same place as you were stuck.
Yeah Artie and Skraankie are best buddies, love them in a HP burn/ poison comp with Elenaril and Anax ( and a 5th someone like a Valkyrie) gonna try with Liburga just got her🙃😊
Ash great videos. I'm wondering if you are interested in a beginners' guide to artifacts. I started playing about two months ago (restarted account with UDK code) but I honestly have no idea when to put gear on champs. I have a boatload of gray and green gear but I'm not sure if it's just silver or to equip on champions for content (i.e. faction wars). I feel like I should be further but artifacts are holding me back.
Go to hell hades and look for a gear cleanse or search "raid hell hades gear cleanse" on TH-cam. Their kinda long and boring, but decent to listen to in the background to see what to keep or sell.
i have seen you have a coldheart, add another one with artak and skraank + udk (or achak, maybe its even faster without the attack animations, but definitely not both) and your time goes down to 26 secs.
I love Artak. Took me a while to get around to building him.(I'm f2p and it takes about 2 weeks for clan boss and events to get me enough legendary tomes to book a champion. I had Michinaki to build at the time as well). He's awesome. I him built with accuracy, damage and speed. He can farm 12-3 brutal (6 seconds). He finally got me a sub one minute spider run(haven't transitioned to spider hard yet), he duos ice golem with Elva and is a great carry for Hydra. Love love love Artak
Could you check on the test server about Avenging gear. I assume that it is a 1 time retaliation, but wondering if you get hit by a retaliation, if that could cause another retaliation.
I tried to swap in Aflac for Akoth in my spider runs. Doesn't work out. I think it's because he's not booked, but still. Took me down to a 75-ish% win rate and makes the runs twice as long. He has over 90K HP, 350 ACC, and speed is around 250. Still a net loss.
Ash I'm newbie knucklehead who got Artak free and all my artifacts I have on him is Perception gear and have been upgrading those artifacts to try and farm best gear. Any suggestions?
I run the same spider team.. Though since i dont have kymar I use Siphi. Skrank is only 50, but is fully booked and Achak is 50, and unbooked..but there mainly for the passive and initial freeze :)
I am 100 % sure that the books are not spread equally btw. Had so many situations where an A1 with 9 levels was fully maxed out before a single book landed in an A3 that had only 2 levels, which is sooo unlikely to happen if the probability would be equal. Maybe this happens once but it's almost common for my account. Also does not surprise me in the slightest but it's just dirty by Plarium to not even state this.
I have righteous sword and shield resilient helm and armor and perception glove and boots did i build him right? he is giving me 13.7k power with 20k hp at level 37 1 pink star.
Hey Ash, so you don’t recommend full masteries for Artak? Or did you just do the first few rows because that Artak was on your FTP account? I just got gems and really want to put masteries on a 6 star champ that already does a lot of damage. It’s on my main sort-of-play-to-win account….which tier six masteries would you recommend for Artak, or do they really not make a difference? My Artak has high HP and high def, and does a significant amount of damage with the new 2 star brimstone….I thought he would be a good candidate for tier 6…what are your thoughts?
Thanks to Artak I got past lvl 25 for Spider and Ice Golem as a F2P. Now I wish I had Superior Galek since he was my starter. Been using Kael as the farmer in Campaign.
Well to be fair Mr Ash, Hell Hades did build Artak with high Crit Damage, and 100% crit but not as fast to be a 6 second campaign farmer. So slower with high crit damage and 100% crit isn’t a terrible move. Sure it may reduce his usefulness in other areas, but for an early game account having a good six second farmer is good.
I am using Artak in my hydra team. Now when the sets updates come live, I probably rebuild him with Cursed set. All attacks are AoE and 50% chance to Hex debuff will be big improvement.
Hex would be dope. I use Michinaki with Artak for this reason. The constant back to back atks from michinaki thanks to hex, and relentless gear is nasty. I also thought about swapping my gear on Artak to hex because of how michinaki passive works when there is a hex buff active. I can only assume it will be more broken than it already is for me
I've been playing on and off for years (mostly ftp) and have 0 6* Champions. How do people get 5 5* Champs or Chickens to Sacrifice for the Champions they're building? Is it IAP-exclusive territory? _"Have you ever been to the Cloud District? No, of course you haven't."_ Is it a really low ceiling if you're not dropping C-notes on buying your way up? UPDATE: I now have a Level 60 Kael, the firsr and so far only 6-star Champion on the acct. I had the 5 Chickens needed to Rank him up (but now have 0 or 1.
I've been working on building Supreme Garlic. He's good with relentless gear, etc. etc. But I figure with how the game handles HP burn, I'm planning to get his speed SLIGHTLY lower than Galek.

Love this champ. I run him with Achac Akoth moso mage UDK as lead and with cold heart for heal reduction and her obv damage/ turn meter control. He is awesome for hydra I run him with moso mage Shamael Drex Geo as lead scyl and Deek.
17 second Spider 25 speed run! In this order, Pain Keeper, Mordecai, Artak, Coldheart & Renegade. Pain keeper uses her reset on her 2nd turn. Super consistant, no longer than 20 seconds!!!!!! He absolutely changed my account!
What dwarf are you talking about? I've never heard of this. I remember a video where you said artaks sillouete was a new dwarf. Pretty sure that was artak though. Maybe I'm missing something.
I'm level 55 on my account and you have WAYYYYYY more progress than I do. I'm at 534k total power, takes me 4 minutes to clear Mino 15, I'm only up to Ice Golem 13, Up through Dragons 15, Fire Knight 8, and Spider 5.
My wife and I both have 2 accounts that we play with and one of them has the best RNG for her computer account while I'm stuck with off-meta copium. lol. We watch you daily now as it's something we bond over, so thanks for bringing our family a little closer with your content. :)

ash ive watched so many videos of both yours and hades and still cant manage to get up to par with my dungeons and faction wars ect been playing off and on for over a year now and still feel like im a beginner player is their any way i could have you or hades look at my account and lmk what im doing wrong :)
when ever I build champs I build them for a team role - and build to their strengths and dont reinvent the wheel - thanks this is important as the precious resources must me distributed correctly - personally UDK on my mini acct helps me a ton because I dont have a Brogni so thanks I think this is great information
Artak is my first lege that can solo farm campain at nightmare at deasten time.. aroun 1 min. HP aroun 80k speed 185 and acc 275. using lifesteal and perseption sets. did use geomancer at normal bosses but artak is grazy at hard mode spider
100% agree, HP burn damage dealers are very weak, Mordecai, Galek and clearly Artack, as examples are way to U.P and need a buff, increase the per-centage chance to apply the HP burn, it's damage per-turn and "unless healed all champions will burn for 3 turns". Mordecai is SO U.P unless they buff him, I tempted to use him as food.
In general, you don't need to crit to apply a debuff, you just need to not weak hit. Increasing crit doesn't push weak hit off the table in a negative affinity match up, so 100% crit still allows weak hits. SOME champs do have a condition of their skill that says "on crit". In THOSE cases, you'd need to crit to apply the debuff. Just read the skill. If it says "place", it will place the debuff regardless of type of hit. If it says "on hit", then anything except a weak hit, if it says "on crit" then you'd need to crit.

My main champ and carry in everything is Ronda with lifesteal gear. From Clan boss to dungeon farming or exp farming she can do it all.

I have him built in regeneration and he seems to do pretty darn good because it keeps him alive

I finally was able to finish 3 level 25 dungeon because of Artak, even farm lvl 25 spider easy!
The way Artak's ai is setup he will always use his A2 first for some reason. So if you want him too use his A3 first you gotta set it up

Same as you he is not fully booked yet, and he definitely could use a bit more speed, but with him and Sicia coming in and absolutely wrecking Spider in the first turn (I open with Artaks A3, then follow with Sicias A2 and Artaks A2, then my RG comes in to land a smack) it's a reliable sub-1.5 minute run (Record time was 35 seconds). Previously I could barely get 100% reliability

Ash great videos. I'm wondering if you are interested in a beginners' guide to artifacts. I started playing about two months ago (restarted account with UDK code) but I honestly have no idea when to put gear on champs. I have a boatload of gray and green gear but I'm not sure if it's just silver or to equip on champions for content (i.e. faction wars). I feel like I should be further but artifacts are holding me back.
Go to hell hades and look for a gear cleanse or search "raid hell hades gear cleanse" on TH-cam. Their kinda long and boring, but decent to listen to in the background to see what to keep or sell.
i have seen you have a coldheart, add another one with artak and skraank + udk (or achak, maybe its even faster without the attack animations, but definitely not both) and your time goes down to 26 secs.
Guilty. I went to Hellhades' website and built Artak to be a nuker.
I love Artak. Took me a while to get around to building him.(I'm f2p and it takes about 2 weeks for clan boss and events to get me enough legendary tomes to book a champion. I had Michinaki to build at the time as well).
He's awesome. I him built with accuracy, damage and speed. He can farm 12-3 brutal (6 seconds). He finally got me a sub one minute spider run(haven't transitioned to spider hard yet), he duos ice golem with Elva and is a great carry for Hydra.

Could you check on the test server about Avenging gear. I assume that it is a 1 time retaliation, but wondering if you get hit by a retaliation, if that could cause another retaliation.

I tried to swap in Aflac for Akoth in my spider runs. Doesn't work out. I think it's because he's not booked, but still. Took me down to a 75-ish% win rate and makes the runs twice as long. He has over 90K HP, 350 ACC, and speed is around 250. Still a net loss.
So, I was thinking in use him on my badget man-eater team, has my burner. So it is a waste, right?

I run the same spider team.. Though since i dont have kymar I use Siphi. Skrank is only 50, but is fully booked and Achak is 50, and unbooked..but there mainly for the passive and initial freeze :)
Don't forget about renegade. I use that for my 43 sec Spider 25. Adding Artak reduced my speed by 20 seconds.
I am 100 % sure that the books are not spread equally btw.
Had so many situations where an A1 with 9 levels was fully maxed out before a single book landed in an A3 that had only 2 levels, which is sooo unlikely to happen if the probability would be equal.
Maybe this happens once but it's almost common for my account. Also does not surprise me in the slightest but it's just dirty by Plarium to not even state this.

Hey Ash, so you don’t recommend full masteries for Artak? Or did you just do the first few rows because that Artak was on your FTP account? I just got gems and really want to put masteries on a 6 star champ that already does a lot of damage. It’s on my main sort-of-play-to-win account….which tier six masteries would you recommend for Artak, or do they really not make a difference? My Artak has high HP and high def, and does a significant amount of damage with the new 2 star brimstone….I thought he would be a good candidate for tier 6…what are your thoughts?

Well to be fair Mr Ash, Hell Hades did build Artak with high Crit Damage, and 100% crit but not as fast to be a 6 second campaign farmer. So slower with high crit damage and 100% crit isn’t a terrible move. Sure it may reduce his usefulness in other areas, but for an early game account having a good six second farmer is good.

I just switched from Res to Acc banner and he dropped 10k power.
I am using Artak in my hydra team. Now when the sets updates come live, I probably rebuild him with Cursed set. All attacks are AoE and 50% chance to Hex debuff will be big improvement.
Hex would be dope. I use Michinaki with Artak for this reason. The constant back to back atks from michinaki thanks to hex, and relentless gear is nasty. I also thought about swapping my gear on Artak to hex because of how michinaki passive works when there is a hex buff active. I can only assume it will be more broken than it already is for me

I've been playing on and off for years (mostly ftp) and have 0 6* Champions. How do people get 5 5* Champs or Chickens to Sacrifice for the Champions they're building? Is it IAP-exclusive territory?

Solid advice for new accounts, try *disable camera shake in settings* that camera movement is awful on youtube
I've been working on building Supreme Garlic. He's good with relentless gear, etc. etc. But I figure with how the game handles HP burn, I'm planning to get his speed SLIGHTLY lower than Galek.

17 second Spider 25 speed run! In this order, Pain Keeper, Mordecai, Artak, Coldheart & Renegade. Pain keeper uses her reset on her 2nd turn. Super consistant, no longer than 20 seconds!!!!!! He absolutely changed my account!

when ever I build champs I build them for a team role - and build to their strengths and dont reinvent the wheel - thanks this is important as the precious resources must me distributed correctly - personally UDK on my mini acct helps me a ton because I dont have a Brogni so thanks I think this is great information

Artak is my first lege that can solo farm campain at nightmare at deasten time.. aroun 1 min. HP aroun 80k speed 185 and acc 275. using lifesteal and perseption sets. did use geomancer at normal bosses but artak is grazy at hard mode spider

100% agree, HP burn damage dealers are very weak, Mordecai, Galek and clearly Artack, as examples are way to U.P and need a buff, increase the per-centage chance to apply the HP burn, it's damage per-turn and "unless healed all champions will burn for 3 turns". Mordecai is SO U.P unless they buff him, I tempted to use him as food.
Wait I’m super confused. Do you not need 100% crit rate on Artak? I thought his A1 and A3 needed to crit to land like other debuffs?
Debuffs don't need a crit to land
In general, you don't need to crit to apply a debuff, you just need to not weak hit.
Increasing crit doesn't push weak hit off the table in a negative affinity match up, so 100% crit still allows weak hits.
SOME champs do have a condition of their skill that says "on crit". In THOSE cases, you'd need to crit to apply the debuff.
Just read the skill. If it says "place", it will place the debuff regardless of type of hit. If it says "on hit", then anything except a weak hit, if it says "on crit" then you'd need to crit.

i tried artek with retaliation armor. seems legit, powerful aoe attack and all, right? its not working well so far
