More to Grand Turk Than The Port Area??? | Carnival Vista

- Welcome to our Grand Turk vlog!
In this vlog we opted to rent a golf cart and buzz around the island with our friends!
Our 1st stop was the Grand Turk Lighthouse since we haven't been there since our first cruise back in 2013. There is a lot more to do and see there and even get to feed some of the local donkeys!
Then we buzzed on over to Governor's Beach. For how many times we have been to Grand Turk, we have never visited this beautiful beach (highly recommend!).
Lastly we went to the Sand Bar that was between the cruise port and the lighthouse. I think this is our new favorite spot to hang! Oh my goodnes...the beach alone is worth the ride there!
Back on board we had an absolute blast in the Red Frog Pub with our friends.

Thank you love the video of Grand turk. It confirmed to me that I need to stay at the cruise port do to all the loose dogs that are around as I travel with a guide dog and do not want her to be distracted.
Thank you for watching, just be aware that there are usually loose dogs on the beach even by the cruise port. Especially down the beach a little. They are everywhere on the island unfortunately 😢
Totally understand, but like Dave said unfortunately there are usually stray dogs on most of the islands outside of the port area. It's sad :(

About how long were you out on the golf cart? Trying to plan my trip in September. We come in at 11 and leave at 6. So not a huge amount of time

@Terrific10byTna I believe it was $150 for the day through DEA. They do have a website, so you can rent ahead of time 😀
how far is the light house for the port?
About 6 miles, so in the golf cart it took about 20ish minutes. And in case you want to know...the roads are good 👍🤣

@@pocono24 Im sure there are other great spots, but we only know of those spots that we went to. Maybe we will check more out in May when we go there again :)
