- We are in the beautiful port of Freeport in this vlog. I know most people do not like Freeport at all and some won't even get off of the ship. Well we are here to tell you...get out of the port area!!!
Our excursion that we booked through Carnival went to Banana Bay Beach. It was a low cost beach day at $59.99 per person. It was about a half hour ride outside the port to Banana Bay. This included a chair and a welcome drink, but just going to see this beautiful beach was absolutely worth it!!
After our time at Banana Bay, we headed back for some Festa Italiana fun. This is only on the Venezia and Firenze (Venice Class Ships). It's based on an Italian street fair where there is music, games and little appetizers being served during the evening.

On this cruise we sail with our friends Rob & Favor from @LifeWithFavor , Paul & Cindy from @HighSeasFriendsTravel & Cristin & Brian on an eight day cruise that was originally going to San Juan, St. Thomas and Grand Turk. But Hurricane Lee had a different idea.... due to the hurricane we are now going to Princess Cay, Nassau & Freeport. Despite the itinerary change, we had the best weather and an absolute blast!

We did the Garden of the Groves in June 2023 and it was really neat to see some of the island and also tour the garden.
We did that in 2015 with a Jeep Excursion. That is also a beautiful area in Freeport 😄
This place is a locals favorite. We went there and it was so nice! The banana bread is so good! Crazy how the water is so shallow
It blows my mind with that water.. This honestly is one of my favorite beaches now. 🏝
We have never been to Freeport but if we do we will for sure be going there! That beach is reminds me of Sorobon beach in Bonaire.

I love Freeport. Yes, it's an industrial port, but the beaches are truly among the best out there. The people that don't get excursions away from the port are missing out ~! Going back in October.

We enjoyed our time there last June. The banana bread was good but a little dry. The water was really pretty! Glad y’all had an awesome day. The Italian festivities were different and looked like fun!

Absolutely agree, we did the Margaritaville at sea and did a beach day at an all inclusive while docked in Freeport. The water is amazing. Thanks for sharing.

@@DaveBrandysExcursionsTravel just don’t fly in and out just to do MAS. Do a cruise out of Miami or Ft Lauderdale and then do MAS. Also if you could use Palm Beach International do it. It is like a larger Atlantic City International. Easy in easy out. I have done Uber from Palm Beach to Ft Lauderdale for between $50-$75.
