3:20 That busy pool and two bars (Margaritaville and Jack's Shack)....for most people, that is the sum total of Grand Turk as a port destination. If you don't mind walking, or spending taxi fare, you can go to Governor's Beach, a much more serene and relaxed area. If you're looking for more than that, I'd skip Grand Turk altogether.
Don't skip this port. I have many videos on grand turk and the only way to see it is by golf cart. Private beaches all over this island and the people are fabulous.

On a RC cruise right now and will be at this port in 2 days. Didn’t book any excursions as it was changed to this instead of Haiti kinda last minute. The port looks awesome to walk around though so I’m not worried. Thank you for the video!
Oh yeah we love Grand Turk... upgrade from Haiti imo. You will love it there and yes so much to do... if you get to margaritaville try the pain killer. Lol.
@andreaharris4683 It was great, we didnt get to stop at Grand Turk due to a storm so we went to the Dominican Republic (Amber Cove).. The Bahamas was my fav tho
It's funny. With Labadee closed due to the unrest in Haiti Royal Caribbean is now having ships go to Grand Turk. I am on one in June and our Labadee stop was replaced with Grand Turk. All the excursions are clearly Carnival excursions. It's interesting to see how the cruise lines will sell their mostly exclusive ports to each other for a price. We had a cabana on Labadee and doing the same for Grand Turk. Matched it with the Carnival one and interesting to see the price difference. $164 for Carnival. $159 for Royal. We're in port with Carnival Sunrise so luckily no Mardi Gras or another mega ship to make it too crazy. Thanks for the video! A lot of RC cruisers hyped to visit a port most don't get to see unless on Carnival lines.
You will enjoy grand turk. It's fun to cruise around the island by golf cart there are many hidden gems. Have a great time and want to hear about your experience.👍👍
So you can swim at the Margaritaville pool for no charge? Can you also utilize their beach chairs at the pool for free or is there a charge for the beach chair?
Yes the pool and chairs are free... get there early for a good seat. Some chairs Have built in coolers those you pay for and the cabanas. Free excursion there. You will have a great time. 👍
Oh yes water very safe on the ship. I would drink bottled water on the island if you have concerns or take a water bottle with you on the island which is what we do. 🛳🛳👍👍
