Great overview! Though, the robotic voice makes it less engaging.

A good movie, but the sound could be improved - at least - a little bit.

What I don’t understand about mitochondrial DNA is that you only get it off your Mother. So my father had Mitochondrial DNA from his mother, don’t I have my grandmother’s Mitochondrial DNA??

Human sperm doesn't contain mitochondrial DNA. That's why we just get it from mother

Kinda, you dont have the exact copy from your mother or grandmother since mtDNA also go through replication. Sperms have mitochondria, but it's destroyed by the eggs once fertilized.

Rapper Machine Gun Kelly’s mitochondrial haplogroup is actually M as opposed to H unlike most Europeans. Rapper Machine Gun Kelly’s 20th great grandmother was a heavily tattooed Indian Hindu woman who was raped by a very tall blonde haired blue eyed Scandinavian man. 🎭🩰🎨

Is there a site where someone would be able to compare mtDNA sequences(HVR1 and HVR2) to see hiw similar they are?

Cytochrome c oxidase has an oxygen binding site... Does that site lose function over time? Is cytochrome c oxidase degradation a key component of aging?

Computer voices are soooo stupid. you can get a pro speaker for $5 for your recordings. I alway close all videos immediately and thumb down for videos with computer voices.
