The idea that there's a device that prevents probability and nobody ever thought to use it against Jynx. It clearly takes Batman himself to think about using the machine purpose made to counteract someone's specific power.
Well given Batman's contingency for Robin is "get him in a situation where you can just kill the boy using some noxious gas or anything lethal to a human" kind of hand waves the "how" part. Slade may have gotten to him, but he still made it out alive so it won't be that easy. I like JLU's Batman's plan for himself, "Just shoot him, he's a regular human."
Nightwing does infact have contingency plans, but he’s open about having them while giving out the exact details. Basically he did what Batman should have done.
I always assumed Bruce’s contingency plan for himself is his PTSD. He could be easily drawn out if his family were put in danger. Family like a sidekick or a butler.
His plan for Robin highlights the problem I have with Batman's contingencies in general. He supposedly makes these plans in case the hero in question becomes evil or evil-controlled, but the plan for Robin requires exploiting Robin's concern for the wellbeing of his team. If Robin is truly evil, he doesn't care about his team. Plan fails. If he is evil-controlled, by definition he doesn't have enough agency to act on his concern for his team (and may not even be conscious enough to perceive the threat to them). Plan fails. If your plan requires your target to act heroically and selflessly, you haven't created a plan to safeguard against a fallen version of them; you've only devised a means to unmake another hero.
A lot of them, though fun to listen to, revolved around "Just mess with them psychologically or use some gas to neutralize thier nervous system", honestly, none of them except Cyborg are immune to a bullet through the heart. The whole idea of continency plans was in case conventional weapons or tactics couldn't pin them down and assuming they "have to be stopped at all costs", distracting them and putting a bullet through most of them should do the trick. Cyborg gets the EMP then drain his battery and Starfire.... I'm not sure if she's immune to bullets but lock her in a dark room for enough time and she'll probably die out. Just how to get her in the dark room.
Eh, it can depend. It isn't necessarily just mind control, it can also be them just going rogue or something. In Injustice 2 for instance Supes straightup executes Shazam because he points out "Look, I was with you this far, but isn't that overdoing it a bit?". I.e. : he still had his original values, he was just willing to act against them because he thought it was worth it and Superman was right, but once things started going too far he still took objection. He'd essentially be betting on Robin not being completely puppeteered, but rather mentally subdued, so his basest habits & beliefs would still be there. Comic-logic aside, this isn't a completely stupid allowance. If the original consciousness *_is_* being *_completely_* displaced, then none of Robin's skills, knowledge, training, etc. would be a factor. In other words a "mind controlled" Robin that is a threat *_must_* have some level of his consciousness still present, so the strategy would basically be to piss it off to slow his reaction time, confuse him, etc. Granted while thats sound in theory, writers really just decide at random which mind control can/can't be affected in which ways. Very, very, *_very_* rarely do you see 'realistic' (as in "yes, this is internally consistent and makes sense based on how we know things work in/out of universe") mind-control/brainwashing. Realistically what you'd most likely see if a villain wanted to weaponize a hero is a device or method which tries to assert its own goals as their own. "Robin, why are you designing a bomb?" "To blow up the orphanage" "why do you want to blow up the orphanage?" "Wh- why do you think? To kill the orphans!" "Why do you want to kill the orphans?" "I...uh... I... You know I'm not actually sure now that I think about it, I just know that I need to.". That way they'd still have all of their skills, training, and abilities but could still be controlled to do something. Using this method though, pre-existing goals, philosophies, etc. would likely stick around and have a hard time being ignored. Ergo a mind controlled batman still wouldn't casually break his no killing rule, and a mind controlled robin would still likely hesitate if his team were endangered.
Ye get her while she is sleeping or something or a surprise attack getting her emotional is a death sentence could literally cause all of time to stop.

Overly stressing out Beast Boy is NOT a good idea. His power comes from The Red, the animal counterpart of The Green. Beast Boy can become ANY animal within a Biosfere, in the show he became a single celled organism. In comics he has even managed to become Starro, which means he could theoretically even become a Kryptonian. Putting his friends in danger is a big gamble. If Beast Boy goes Rogue, he needs to be either sedated ASAP or destroyed to the last cell.
Yeah, the psychological damage might make them even more aggressive if evil. Plus we saw what happened when BB was accused of attacking Starfire (when it was really Adonis and bb fended him off, but had no memory) Starfire was on life support. So if he could do that on accident, it'll take more than just annoying him to stop him if he's deliberate. Plus he can multiply as an amoeba too so a smart BB has no continency...just infect everyone and GG.
If he does come from 'The Red' then couldn't he regenerate like Swamp Thing does from The Green? If his powers actually are magical (or psuedo magical) in nature then you'd probably want to get someone like Constantine who has experience dealing with Swamp Thing already.
@@felixjohnson3874 Sort of. In the comics he's been able to split up into several animals at the same time, which is the most powerful we've seen him. The issue is that animals aka "the red" don't have plants natural abilities to heal themselves, at least not in an as efficient way. I'm pretty sure he does have some healing factor, but he can't just regrow his head or new organs. At least not as far as I know
@@HyattHyatt3179 well, I mean, plenty of animals *_do_* have pretty intense healing abilities, but my point is that Swamp Thing can, for some reason, reincarnate even into parallel dimensions because The Green connects all plant life on all earths across all dimensions. (That reason being the writers wanted him to have a cool new power) Honestly it's part of why I'm not a fan of things like 'the green' to begin with. If you just had it be something like "they connect with local plant life" or "they have a special seed on earth that connects them to it's plant life* or something then it works because you've established definite mechanics, but just saying "its a magic field that all plant life on earth is a part of. Across all dimensions. Sorta. Sometimes. Oh also, only earth, no other plants count. Because I said so." it just feels too vague to be meaningful. (Not to mention it means the universe itself not only has an entire special field just for Earth, but ALSO has an objective, quantifiable standard by which it determines what is/isn't a plant. To which I say, mushrooms, and leave listing all the other countless issues that raises as an exercise left for the reader)
A good few of these feel like a bit of a gamble, especially with the core Titans. The body would overload the sonic canon, shutting it down and without that weapon, it is one of his main weapon so without it, he’s at a disadvantage..
Poor cyborg has the most obvious weakness of all the titans. He's the only one we regularly see defeated to a potential point of no return. but I guess the benefit of being a cyborg is as long as his biological components aren't ever deleted or damaged, he can allegedly be restored, I just only recall that story where Victor became some super computer overlord or something though but it's unclear if the human conscious was still alive.
So basically for main titans, use psychological attacks on everyone but cyborg, and for cyborg, target his software or hardware. Also everyone other than Tera is like, achievable in DC verse, but _"teleport her to someplace far from earth"_ ? That's so hard all of a sudden haha. Also Jinx... _"a device that negates probability"_ tf?
I enjoy these videos, but sometimes the plan doesn't fit the situation. Exp: Robin would be luredto save his friends, but if he is compromised like say mind controll, then using his friends safety against him will likely fail. You cannot assume that these characters would have the same moral compass if it's gotten to the point of a last resort contingency
I've always loved the idea that Batman refused to give Nightwing- at this time, Robin, a contingency. The only person he can truly, without any qualms, trust.
Batman Contingency Log: Code Name: degrading chibis. The Teen Titans of the Go Universe are inept nearly to the level of Aquaman from the Super Friends Universe, and even he gets more done than them. No contingency plan is necessary to defeat them, but I have placed three safeguards around their universe to prevent their idiocracy and actual threats around them from leaving their universe.
Regarding Beast Boy’s contingency. The fear toxin making him forcibly change is very smart but you lost me at the frequency that disrupts the Morphogenic Field thing. That’s just straight up not how the morphogenic field works there’s no “frequency” that can disrupt it it’s a force of nature
Addendum: Speedy files are no longer accurate. He has dealt with a missing arm before and has also demonstrated the ability to turn any random object into a weapon with which he has uncanny accuracy. A favorite seems to be pens.
That is the worst possible contingency plan for Raven possible. Her powers care nothing short of Cataclysmic. Her entire focus is remaining in control of her emotional state. The last thing you want is for Raven to lose control of her emotions, as it could summon Trigon.
Robins contingency only works if you assume he still cares about his friends after turning rogue. Most likely hed try to take out raven and starfire first given how over powered they are. Beast boy has been lroven to be taken out fast even with his strongest animal transofrmations. And cyborg is machine, you can only imagine that rabin has some defense for a guy that needs to recharge at the end of the day. Robin has and will take his team down if nessesary making this contingency unafective. I imagine if batman had to take this version of robin Down, it would take both Batman and Tim Drake as physical Distractions while raven goes in for a psychological punch that either calms him down or takes him out.
"Scarecrow, i'm gonna have to call in a favor... i have some teens who need discipline. Bring your fear toxin and your costume, it's almost Halloween."
I like how many people are saying that Robin's contingency should be "write him out of the will and send him to his room." Then there's me remembering that he's a genius in his own right, is wealthy outside of Bruce's money, and is an expert in physics, law, business, and biology. So that plans not gonna work
I hate when they're like, just tell him his friends are in trouble. Bruh if you have gotten to the point of need a contingency plan, I don't think homie gives af about his friends anymore
One problem with that. Donna, Rachel and Kori actually have no real weaknesses....and Kori needs both Kara and Donna to restrain her if she gets out of control. Raven also could just outscare Batman if she felt like it.
@@JoseFigueroa-iz2on Kara is Supergirl's real name in Kryptonese, she goes by Linda when wearing the glasses. Rachel is Raven's real name, Kori is Starfire's. Yes Batman has dealt with the supernatural before, but Titans' founder Wally West has this to say about it. The only reason Batman can have a slight chance at stopping them is because they *allow* him to...otherwise he's toast. ..and the only reason they allow it? Superman allows it...and Wally's gonna do whatever Uncle Clark does which is why he can joke so much. Even Bruce himself admitted that if the metas really wanted him gone...he would be...as he wouldn't be allowed the preptime plot armor he bought all of in 1989 and buried it in the nearest black hole.
@@JoseFigueroa-iz2on for your comment about Kryptonian. Kryptonian is the denizen name, Kryptonese is the language. Nah cause he's our GOAT! (I know the show showed a few weaknesses for static, like water really messes with his powers. Can also fight him outside of a city where there's no metal to conduct maybe).
Given he became Scarecrow because of his experiments on teens and young adults.... the bill fits like a glove. basically "Enroll them in Scarcrow's classes...."
I'm sorry, but the only thing he can do to jinx is make a hyper specific machine that stops, and I quote, "the manipulation of probability". How would you even go about making a machine that stops that. I think shes actually unstoppable and batman is still labbing it
I love having contingency plans and stuff, but most of this is just lazy. “Throw a heavy net and tranquilize… tranquilize to compliance… cryo technology… use a weather dampening field” like DUH cutting off their power cuts off their power.

Idea: Contingency Plans for Mortal Kombat Characters (I thought it would be intersting, since Batman already fought some of the MK characters)
I am now wondering if Dark Knight Archives has done a contingency plan for Teen Titans Go?🤪
I hope so
So basically for main titans, use psychological attacks on everyone but cyborg, and for cyborg, target his software or hardware.
Also everyone other than Tera is like, achievable in DC verse, but _"teleport her to someplace far from earth"_ ? That's so hard all of a sudden haha. Also Jinx... _"a device that negates probability"_ tf?
making the code dc and a refrence to teen titans release date, cool
It says something about how much Batman respects his protégé that he doesn't even entertain the idea that physical combat is a good idea.
Batman: Talks about a complex plan to neutralize Robin.
Me: You're his DAD. You could just ground him!
You should do the Guardians of the Galaxy next.
Bro really went through every minor character from Teen Titans for extra credit too, mad respects
I like how most are gaslight them or gas them 😂
Jynx and Cyborg: Remind them of THAT video to subdue them from complete embarrassment
i love how the answer to almost anyone is use fear toxin
I've always loved the idea that Batman refused to give Nightwing- at this time, Robin, a contingency. The only person he can truly, without any qualms, trust.
The Teen Titan show's version of Robin's weakness is his anger/rage.
Is it me, or did that “subscribe“ at the end seem like the most menacing of all?
Hearing Batman talking about neutralizing Dick Grayson really hits hard for some reason. Especially given how close to Kevin Conroy this sounds.
DC-19-7-2003 Its the Air date of the first episode of Teen Titans.
Another good contingency for Starfire would be to depress or confuse her.
Thank you, Bruce. Now all this valuable information is mine! Muhahahaha
Addendum: Speedy files are no longer accurate. He has dealt with a missing arm before and has also demonstrated the ability to turn any random object into a weapon with which he has uncanny accuracy. A favorite seems to be pens.
7:49 Teether? Just put him in timeout!
That is the worst possible contingency plan for Raven possible. Her powers care nothing short of Cataclysmic. Her entire focus is remaining in control of her emotional state. The last thing you want is for Raven to lose control of her emotions, as it could summon Trigon.
Also, remember: Calling Terra's brother for help is no longer an option.
Wouldn't cyborg die if his machine shut down since it's also helping his organs stay alive?
You should do one of these for the Injustice Universe Heros and Villans.
Dick Grayson probably gave a few of those contingency plans to Batman.
Holy shit amazing ❤
Kind of intriguing that three of the five main Titans can be put down with fear toxin
"Scarecrow, i'm gonna have to call in a favor... i have some teens who need discipline. Bring your fear toxin and your costume, it's almost Halloween."
The main titans all mainly come down too “psych them out then chain them up”
Cool
I like how many people are saying that Robin's contingency should be "write him out of the will and send him to his room." Then there's me remembering that he's a genius in his own right, is wealthy outside of Bruce's money, and is an expert in physics, law, business, and biology. So that plans not gonna work
“How could you defeat a team that you already created?”-Darkfire.”I created the Teen Titans?”-Batman.
I hate when they're like, just tell him his friends are in trouble. Bruh if you have gotten to the point of need a contingency plan, I don't think homie gives af about his friends anymore
Yknow, I always hear the Victor was once a promising athlete...I would argue he's more promising now. Lol
titans: emps, nerve gas etc
speedy: yea just break his arm i guess
If only, he had such CONTINGENCY PLANS FOR VILLIANS !!!!!
Interesting How Batman uses this elaborate plan for Robin when he could just fight him.
This is just a hobby for batman at this point
Much as I like them, the Teen Titans won't stand a chance against Batman.
Not even his one-time sidekick, Robin, who he took under his bat-wing.
One problem with that. Donna, Rachel and Kori actually have no real weaknesses....and Kori needs both Kara and Donna to restrain her if she gets out of control. Raven also could just outscare Batman if she felt like it.
Batman has dealt with the supernatural before.
And who are Kara and Rachel, BTW?
Superman said so in the storyarc wherein his first kid Chris (the one in my pfp) is introduced. Sometimes the denizen and language designators are the same, but not always...also do not ever make the nice guy angry by making it hard for him to keep a promise to a scared kid...you do not want to be on the receiving end of that.
Can Batman Explain about how to defeat Static Shock as well?
Nah cause he's our GOAT! (I know the show showed a few weaknesses for static, like water really messes with his powers. Can also fight him outside of a city where there's no metal to conduct maybe).
So basically what i'm hearing is that Scarecrow's fear toxin wrecks the majority of the core Titans...Not just Aqualad.
I think shes actually unstoppable and batman is still labbing it
If I can make a suggestion, maybe look into contingencies for the Guardians of the Galaxy or Invincible's Guardians of the Globe.
The Next Video is the Invincible universe
I am glad they added junx because she switched sides
Yeah, this guy Teen Titans
Contingency plan for Robin : GUN and BULLET
I think that'd work for most of them, though a smart Beast Boy would turn into an amoeba and multiply like he did in that one episode. GG.
Would tranquilizers work against Bobby? He's a giant teddy bear.
Robin would have a contingency plan for because he was trained by the master of contingencies... but it don't work if you just ground him lol
I love having contingency plans and stuff, but most of this is just lazy. “Throw a heavy net and tranquilize… tranquilize to compliance… cryo technology… use a weather dampening field” like DUH cutting off their power cuts off their power.
Isn’t Starfires contingency just Batman getting her hooked on alien meth?😂
Containing Ravens a big ole question mark. Tampering with her emotions can lead to the end of the universe. AKA Trigon. Batman wouldn't take that chance.
I'M SORRY, DID HE REALLY SAY HIS PLAN FOR AQUALAD WAS "make him afraid of water" LIKE HUH?????
Jinx: I dunno
Someone should give this guy an AI made award. Cuz his voice is an AI bot that needs no real award
Dark Knight Archive, great content keep it up
I still find jinx's power the hardest to create a device for
So almost all of them has one common weakness??
EMOTIONAL DAMAGE
Doesn't the voice say "Think careful before..." in the end of the video like the other team contingency plans(the Justice League or the Avengers)?
Batmans password is DC-19-7-2003
Password: DC-19-7-2003. Aka the premier date of the Teen Titans cartoon.
A crowbar would also suffice against Robin
There is basically no one on this list who cant be dealt with by a baret 50. And a marine sniper.
Batman: Gnarrk.
Titans: Guh-Narrk!
@@ilikethecokev2 Love that someone knows the reference
Im waiting for guardians of the galaxy, inhumans, sinister six, suicide squad, young juistice and more
6:30 Ga-narrk!!
Nimrod and Batman on the same level
