I am currently 20 and going through a rough phase that I only recently noticed was a cause for many problems. Only just realized I struggle with anxiety and perfectionism. Because of the fear of failing others I've put up a mask in front of everybody and I only just realized it and how it negatively impacted me. So the message that he doesn't know who he is anymore hit like a truck.
I also come from a family where we struggled to make things meet financially, and because I didn't want to burden my mother any further I put up a mask that I was perfect. But especially after this drama I am realizing that putting up a mask like this is only hurting her more. It also made me think about my mom and how she is feeling throughout all this.
I feel like this drama was made for me in a way. The message for me is finding yourself, who you are and what you want to do. Accepting failure and rainy days. Loving yourself and others. Understanding how oneself can heavily impact the feelings of others.
I am still working on everything mentioned, but this drama will definitely be one of the most important pieces of media I've ever watched.
I agree I think it was made to help people going through similar experiences, I know it's especially common in Asian countries where the work culture is intense, but it's a problem that effects many across the world, glad it helped you and hope things get better for you!
If you think about it he died all forms of death in his Original + 12 lives - Suicidal, Homicidal, Accidental and finally Natural
I absolutely loved this drama. Beautifully acted by all the cast . I cried at the end and loved the ending.
I recommend you guys to watch The Glory and Moving, the best kdrama in 2023 for me after Death's Game
The mom wasn't going to prison because of the money. She turned it in to the police station and they found out through CCTV that the money belonged to the model dude who died from the car crash so they invited her in for witness interview.
I was really looking forward to the reaction to this episode. I think Idje will hug his mother now, go back to his girlfriend and will be able to find any job now. Because he's been everywhere in different lives. A very interesting message is very important. For me personally, the message was this: value life because maybe everything in your life is not so bad. Thank you for your reaction, this is a worthy drama that it was not a pity to spend time on.

This episode was hard to watch, all the actors were great at conveying these emotions. Maybe I am delusional, but I wonder if some people that did commit suicide, watching this, would have changed their mind. We'll never know. About why he was into his mother's body, she was a broken lady so maybe she ended up and commit suicide herself, that's why he can be in her body so that would explain why she died and why he was able to live so many years still, 'cause she had no illness? Idk just a guess.
At the very end I am happy that Death gave him another chance, he won't waste it for sure. However the crazy CEO is already on his killing spree at this point, and it will involve his girlfriend getting crushed by this guy in the car accident. Death told him that it was at this moment that she was just supposed to die, him being there with her at this moment had nothing to do with it so this event will not change unless he find a way to do so. Possible season 2? I don't think so but that would have been nice. I suppose I think too much and we are just supposed to reflect on the lesson Death taught him in the end, and it's a very good one.

I also quite like you who found some KDrama really hard to give satisfying ends
It makes me worry every time I start to watch some series with good premises
But this series is really well done in pacing, story, writing, character, and everything
The only thing that would be a better touch to the series is if they keep the cause of the death more realistic and consistent
Like the homeless man who just died of the slip on the stairs, while the mother still lives after becoming a hamster ball in the older age
Also, the police guy who just took down probably the biggest crime in the country didn't bring any weapon or protection when chasing a street-level criminal
Hope the showrunner doesn't go to milking the series and make some unnecessary sequel that will probably ruin it all

Mom doesn't need to go to prison. The money was just brought by the model who died by a car accident so she didn't do anything wrong. Afterall the police will give the money back to her after the case is closed. I guess she will donate the money thou.
Would the money not have ties to the other guy who was murdered and eventually the mafia who originally owned the money. While I agree she won't go to prison for it, there is a lot of suspicion around the money. Not sure if she would get it back 😅
@@TheNerdyverse The police don't know anything about mafia's secret money. In Korea, ppl who found the lost money eventually get the money if the owner doesn't appear after a while. Moreover the letter said those were Yeejae's profits from his coin investment.
