The main thing I think it's very impressive about your elevator design is the fact that you can call out the elevator to work while you're in any floor, not like the other designs that can only be used by 1 person and not depend on which floor they're in
I'm still shocked and impressed, this elevator is a real god elevator. No watchable redstone ore slime blocks, closing doors, it is callable on every stage and it is really simple to use

The story behind why I didn't use honey is quite funny, because I started designing the flying machines and cabin for this elevator bevor anyone knew honey would come to the game. Therefore I was forced to only use slime :D I don't have time to play minecraft at the moment, but may reach out to you in the future!
I agree 100%. That´s why I recommend using litematica at least after you have finished the build. Litematica can then "scan" your build for mistakes and will give you a list of missing blocks, blocks in wrong states for example repeater on different delay and also blocks that are not supposed to be there. It just saves you hours of work by preventing the few small mistakes that happen while building
It is so cool that it is a multi floor elevator with a call function and also doors closing and note blocks to open and close the door and go to a floor and actually stops at the floor you want to go to.
This is exactly what I needed. I been looking for awhile for the perfect elevator for my multi story ultra mansion. It have 6 floors plus a floor that goes to the dock cause it is over a river.

@@Pomlithe Thank you :) yes but drastically is even a unterstatement. I think there is hardly anything in the redstone of the elevator that would be useful for designing a elevator in bedrock because the redstone mechanics are so fundamentaly different
unfortunately they have to be stacked on top of each other with no gap. If you want a gap maybe the newer version is more suited but there you can have only 2 floors.
idk if you'll see this but if you do, may I ask if it would break if two players attempted to use it at once? for example two floor being recalled to at the same time
if two player try to call it at the same time it should not break. Because it is just call pulses and the pulses will add up or cancel each other out and the Elevator will basicly just go to a random floor. if you try to call the Elevator while it is moving, nothing will happen and the elevator will arrive at the set Destination and completely ignors the other person calling. the Elevator will break if you manualy open the door while you are in the inside of the elevator or outside the elevator in the exact moment the elevator starts moving because someone else called it a few seconds ago so there is a chance of it breaking when using it with two or more players
Quick question, can it have long intersections?, instead of going up like 15 blocks per floor (don't really know how many it goes up, it was around that). But can it go up by 40 blocks per floor??
no with this design it is not possible, only the distance shown in the video. I have plans on designing a new elevator where exactly that will be possible. But I dont have time in the near future
you right click the note block (not the one for the door) once to go to the lowest floor, twice to go to the second floor an so on. It doenst matter which floor you are on, the elevator will go directly to the desired floor
I did get the elevator to work on all eight floors. However, the call function is not working at all. I will review the tutorial and see if I can solve this. I did find a couple of repeater timings off, as well as a couple of missing blocks at the observer face. When the elevator goes to the second floor, it stops however, the lower flying machine keeps going down all the way. And the doors spaz out when they hit the button. They open and then they close after a couple seconds then they open again and then they close again and I can hear dropper ticking while this happens. Any suggestions? The more I review the tutorial, the more I’m learning about this elevator!

Hard to tell why the flying machine keeps moving without seeing it myself. Weird, I would rather expect the door opening/ closing quickly + dropper noise behavior on one of the highest Levels
I did manage to get the call function working. It seems that the blocks in the back of the elevator need to be against the note block not against the piston to start. This is on the left side that gives the call function piston Redstone a place to connect to, that also solved the spastic door opening and closing. I still have an issue on the second floor when it stops the lower flying machine goes to the first floor and everything’s a mess after that. I have no problem with sending you my world so you can investigate or you can join my server which I’m not quite sure how to do. Just let me know how you would like to investigate the elevator. On the left side as you face the elevator, the first stopping block, at about y=64 or so, I did not put a block against the note block, so the piston could not update and stop the lower flying machine. The redstone was left hanging. Now all seems to be operating as intended. This is one of the top elevators I have worked with.! Genius contraption!! I learned so much. You are a master for sure..!
@@moldy_potato904 Im not sure if I have tried it in 1.21. But you can use the world download and join in 1.21 in singleplayer und test if it works. Unfortunately you have to stack right on top of each other. There is also a newer version with slightly more distance between the floors, maybe it suits your situation better

you should do the (01:12:38 - Important random things to do) part again. Therefore making sure you have bubblecolumns, empty water buckets in the dropper and the correct amount of items in the other containers and so on. Also since you have 8 floors make sure you have not broken any droppers as shown in this part of the video. After that continue with the cabin part where you first check that all blocks in the shaft are retracted. Then build the cabin again. Since it worked first for a few floors and then broke there might be a mistake in the somewhere else in the redstone. Also if you play on a bukkti/spigot/paper server it might not work I hope you get it working again :) If you still have problems I could also join your server or you send me your world and I can help troubleshoot.
Everything you mentioned goes right along with what I had in mind. I understand about not breaking any droppers because you already pre-set it for a total of 8 floors. And it's very possible I could have missed a piece of redstone or something. I will be back in touch to let you know my progress. And if I need you to check the server. Cool mechanism, but i made this on survival server (Fabric 1.21) and it doesn't work. I checked the redstone etc many times - still nothing. Your world download works fine in singleplayer.
@@Isaac__600 I did, Litematica says it's accurate. The only difference are the blocks i used to build (different block for walls, cobble instead of gray concrete etc...) but it shouldn't affect redstone
@@BonBuns oh ok. Then you have to change it. Everywhere where I placed glazed terracotta, which I think is only the shaft and some non visible parts of the elevator cabin you have to change. For the shaft any solid block that does not stick to slime should be fine. For the blocks on the outside of the cabin they also are not allowed to stick to slime but also have to be movable, think only glazed terracotta has this properties
I have one in survival mode on server good thing but i f***** up one blok on water pipe and i try to fix it. It cost like 2 hours. No more projects like this on survival. NEVER! Anyways it works perfectly. I love it.
with this design it is in theory possible but it would need a little redesign. And for such a long distance the principle is not optimal. I am working on a new design were I can include a case like you described. Should be done in a few weeks
yes, it works in vanilla. No mod is required for the elevator to work. Litematica is just a optional mod to assist the building process but is not necessary
It doesn't work on my server, I even used Litematica. When pasting the schematic into the world, there's some missing blocks and the flying machine is in shambles. Can this be fixed or no?
@@5____5 does my world download work in single player? if yes try to upload the world to your server an test if it works. It probably doesnt work on spigot, but if it is really vanilla it should work

La versión java no está disponible en la playstation ni en el móvil. En todos los dispositivos que no sean un ordenador, sólo funciona la versión bedrock. Probablemente juegues siempre a la versión Bedrock. Ya sea en tu móvil, Nintendo, Playstation, xBox... todo es la edición Bedrock. Hay una forma complicada de jugar a la edición java en un móvil, pero no es divertido porque un móvil no tiene suficiente potencia de procesamiento. Not with this exact design. Also because it is timer based the all floors would need to be equaly spaced. Im working on a similar elevator atm that has slightly greater distance between each floor. What distance would you be interested in?
I think V2 is better thats why I only made this tutorial and I dont plan on making a tutorial for V1. If you really want to build version 1 you have to use the world download
I did it on singleplayer world andt he call function works properly. the door works properly too, the problem is that when i press the note block on the elevator, it makes the note blocks sounds and the piston sounds. But the elevator does not move and later the door will close and will open again and close again. As i look outside, its still on the same floor means that it did not move. @@TheBaconMaker just click the note block the number of times to which floor you want to go. For example you are in the elevator on floor 5 an want to go to floor 3. Just click the note block 3 times and it will go down to floor 3
@@Frond123 because all redstone works fundamentally diefferent there. You can compare it to a different universe where all physics just dont work the same as in our universe. you also have to download the world. Then you can join the world and use litematica to create a schematic, just watch a basic litematica tutorial on youtube how to do that. Then you can paste it or just display a blueprint where ever you like
Good question. The answer is no, it is not broken. I made it so the door closes as usual but the elevator doenst move, instead the "arrive sequence" starts. This means the door opens after 1 second again, as if the elevator just arrived at the correct floor, and then closes after a while again automatically.
i bilt this in my muiltiplayer aternos server took em 20 plus hours and 5 hours of trying to figuire out why it dosent work still i couldnt fix it my flying machince makes some problems and my call fucntion was wondering if anyone could help me out

okay i manage to illuminate the fist level rail, but the first level is still note working, i cant go in and go to others levels (2 or 3), but when i call the elevator on level 2 or 3 and i said to him to go level 1 this is working

no 8 is the maximum. The basic principle is in theory expandable up to 15 floors because of signal strength but that is not trivial to do.

Mabye i havent watched it all, but what if you want floor 1 and 2 20 blocks from each other?

the kelp is just to convert the flowing water into water sources. Instead of kelp you can also use hundreds of water buckets

Not with this exact design. Also because it is timer based the all floors would need to be equaly spaced.
Im working on a similar elevator atm that has slightly greater distance between each floor.
What distance would you be interested in?

I think V2 is better thats why I only made this tutorial and I dont plan on making a tutorial for V1. If you really want to build version 1 you have to use the world download

hi! after 5 hours of building, it looks like the elevator i built doesnt go up when i press the note block.
Did you build it in singleplayer or on a server? what version are you using? Does the callfunction work?
I did it on singleplayer world andt he call function works properly. the door works properly too, the problem is that when i press the note block on the elevator, it makes the note blocks sounds and the piston sounds. But the elevator does not move and later the door will close and will open again and close again. As i look outside, its still on the same floor means that it did not move. @@TheBaconMaker just click the note block the number of times to which floor you want to go. For example you are in the elevator on floor 5 an want to go to floor 3. Just click the note block 3 times and it will go down to floor 3

if you build it on your xbox and therefore not on java, I can garantee you the elevator wont work

@@Frond123 because all redstone works fundamentally diefferent there. You can compare it to a different universe where all physics just dont work the same as in our universe. you also have to download the world. Then you can join the world and use litematica to create a schematic, just watch a basic litematica tutorial on youtube how to do that. Then you can paste it or just display a blueprint where ever you like

Good question. The answer is no, it is not broken. I made it so the door closes as usual but the elevator doenst move, instead the "arrive sequence" starts. This means the door opens after 1 second again, as if the elevator just arrived at the correct floor, and then closes after a while again automatically.
