I think you may be having some Gacharic Spin / DOLL$BOXX confusion as GS have been putting out material constantly for over a decade. DOLL$BOXX is their side project with FUKI and only has one album and an EP, which is generally heavier than GS. It's not often that GS go for heavy and dissonant, but you'll find a few tracks in their discography that are comparable to I wish I. You'll also find a lot of very different stuff covering elements of funk, punk, rock, pop and EDM, frequently blended in the same track. Sometimes it is wild noise and sometimes its an acoustic arrangement of a ballad. It's that range and unpredictability that elevates them to my number one spot for Japanese bands. I also think that wide range of styles can hold them back a little - I can imagine some people loving their last MV (MindSet) but being scared off by this one. I think progressive is the right word for them as they are constantly moving forward.
Great music. They always buy me with their transitions from slow to fast. It feels like they are giving you the opportunity to draw air for a subsequent explosion of emotions. Thank you, friends, for your reaction.
Nice one boys they never stopped making albums the last one was Gold Dash and this new one is out September self produced by the band .They move with the times ever evolving
This has to be a record for you two LOL your actually on the ball, I Wish I is bad ass .This is what you get when talent gets a free rain and produces there own music, Hana Sano (drummer Guitar etc Blue in hair ) musical genius heavily influenced this song and she is back to growling !! The first two off this new album are superb and great hope for the rest out in September.
You guys have the best visualizations. I appreciate your green screen background. Oh yeah ... thanks for introducing me to some stuff I wouldn't have given a chance to otherwise . Was actually a dynamically interesting song !!!
I just wish the growling and screams go through out the song. That keyboard breakdown reminds me of the last Galneryus you reacted to, it's like a Mermaid or Siren splashing you with water or wave of sudden wind.
I am about a year late to this thread, but I think it's worth pointing out that Gacharic Spin defies any niche or labels. What I have come to appreciate about 'I Wish I' is how its "tone" keeps evolving throughout the entire song. They keep you guessing, in a way that the Japanese bands I'm familiar with do not. Wagakki Band is a major exception. The music I've heard so far from Lonesome_Blue throws in some twists and turns, especially during the instrumental solo bridges. Major bands like Band-Maid and Lovebites are driven by their respective niches (not to mention fans), and to my ears their music *can* come across as being very similar from one song to another, as fine as each one of them is. LB's Edge of the World, Frozen Serenade, Dystopia Symphony, and the new Judgment Day all have fascinating or beautiful moments that digress from the "usual," but nothing screams "Surprise!" or packs a *wow!* punch the way GS does. That they are willing to reinvent and refresh themselves, recast their songs (e.g. "Alive") over the years, let their albums be a pastiche of musical styles, and write latter-day songs (esp. the songs featured on the 13th anniversary special) that are dynamically and expressively inventive is for me what sets them apart.
They are so lovably insane. This is much more interesting (IMHO) than "Mindset." Looks like Angie 1/3 is getting more of the spotlite, evolving into their frontwoman, judging from this and "Mindset."
If you like their live stuff you should react to Gacharic Spin - Hunting Summer, it has some amazing solo parts from the bassist en guitarist. Keep doing what you're doing.
@@dicodec I just watched an Instrumental by Them by another react channel, Were they appear to be much younger They are insanely good musicians especially the guitar player Girl. Dont know the Name of that Instrumental.
I had lost track of Gacharic Spin, thank you for bringing them back to my radar!!! Last thing I heard from them was Music Battler back in 2015, can't believe it's been 6 fucken years
Отличная музыка. Они меня всегда покупают своими переходами от медленного к быстрому. Такое ощущение, что дают возможность набрать воздух для последующего взрыва эмоций. Спасибо, друзья за реакцию.
Love that you are giving the keys (Oreo) the props they deserve. Btw, you said there is a lot going on in the song, but ironically they themselves said, that they toned it down to make it more accessible (which they actually did if you compare it to the arrangements of their previous stuff). A little sad, that you did your reaction to their previous MV MindSet during your push-up session, you missed quite a lot of the song. Cheers :)
ill say this with Gacharic Spin...they might not be someones "style" of music...but anyone who listens to them they always move to the music ! even my mom....she thinks im weird for listening to Japanese music lol...but i let her see the Mindset video lol...i looked and my mom was tapping her feet to the music lol ! as for me i love these ladies ...they are the definition of AMAZING !!!!!!
You guys simply have not heard enough of Gacharic Spin’s catalog. There is literally nothing they can’t/ won’t do . They’ve done pop, rock, metal, prog , jazz, 70’s funk, modern funk, techno dance pop, ballads, ect. They have seemingly re-invented themselves album after album yet always seem to stay themselves, high level musicians and artists. Dig deeper all there albums are in TH-cam u suggest going back a little and listen to generation gap or winner. For songs with out video try Danganbeat or yuganhenko probably my favorite songs of theirs.
Is it just me or was that actually koga on the mat. In the side shot at the end you get her left profile that definitely resembles koga. And remember she started out as a gravure idol so this might some sort of call back.
We have yet to do a Trident song on the channel. It's always these bands that we get to really late the end up being the most fire bands. I can't wait to hear them
FYI...Dimash uploaded new songs on his channel. HIS version of Ave Maria and Stranger. There's a third, Fly Away, but it's not my cup of tea. The first two will BLOW you away!!!!

This is what happens when a band decides to use their total artistic freedom. And when they have an adrenalin transfusion from their youngest member.
Hell yes! 🤘❤
It's an absolute blast !!!
This song is a masterpiece, so many layers. Gacharic Spin is the best rock band around imo, experimental and progressive.
They are amazing!
Awesome to see that two of the most innovate rock bands in years are all female groups out of Japan.

This song was super badass! I love the drummer, she's so talented.
Heck yeah! It was so dope!
Koga going back to her modeling days for this video.
She used to be a model? 😯
@@dicodec She left home pretty early and to support herself she did some modeling while also being in a band.
@@dicodec She did what they call "Gravure" modeling. Basicly a ton of bikini/lingerie style work for mens magazines.
She was a teenage bikini model.
