Thanks Chief - any reactions to Gacharic Spin are always most welcome! From your page it looks like you've only watched Tamashii before, and also Take my chance by Doll$boxx, a more metal side project of theirs. As you got into the lyrics here I would definitely suggest "Replica" by Gacharic Spin, the recent MV also has English subtitles available 👍
Gacharic Spin has an amazing variety of music, from the fun songs like Kachi Kachi Yama and Hunting Summer to really deep ones like Replica (which I highly recommend) they are, quite simply, incredible!
Gacharic Spin is always wonderfully unpredictable they can be fun and silly , funky and groovy, hard as hell, or incredibly deep and thought provoking and sometimes all of that in one song amazing musicians all of them
Thank you again for this reaction, brother! You had some amazing insights regarding Angie's lyrics. Hoping that there are some good recommendations coming your way for them - I have more, but I have so many others from so many other bands..... Much love, and see you on the next one, whoever that might be!
Basically the same lineup as Doll $ Boxx but with Hana on guitar instead of drums and the new singer Angie with the pink hair. The morph into D$B happened when a member of GS passed away, which left the band kicking their heels for awhile. I recommend the song Mindset which has Hana back on drums, another drummer too and shows the transition of Angie from school girl to pink hair. The song is a belter. Incidenally.GS now has two screamers now, and in I wishI Hana plays guitar & is wearing the check jacket.
Haven't caught one of your reactions in a long time - glad to see you're still covering killer music. I really like Gacharic Spin, even though they are all over the place musically. The material they're putting out these days is top class, but I also have a soft spot for their very early material and the synth-heavy stuff from when they had a couple of hype girls on stage with them. Japan's music scene is very good for teaching you not to judge a book by its cover.
This version goes more sonically intense for the live performances. The original MV is mostly smoother and has visual art moments inserted. Be aware there are a couple of modest nude scenes with Koga, showing vulnerability, and also learning to reconnect with nature over our artificial, tech-dominated lifestyle. Caio!
Great reaction Chief, thanks. I Love this band--they work so hard. As if you need another suggestion, try their new MV BakuBaku (from three weeks ago) if you need some additional brilliance in your life. Take care.
One should always pay attention to all aspects of a Gachapin song (music, lyrics, MV etc).
They are as great as they are unique.
Cheers Chief :)
Honestly this Track always brings Tears to my Eyes . Angie´s singing is so emotional in this one .

A bit of backstory: Angie wrote the lyrics during the lockdown in Japan and wrote it out of frustration.
To me, they're the best rock band around! Nice reaction, good job!

I LOVE this song! The music video is amazing, too!
