This song needs no introduction. Let's just say that it really means a lot to me. This arrangement also makes it a bit tougher than the original, since I find Bad Apple to be pretty easy compared to other Touhou themes. Anyways, enjoy!!

i used to listen to so many touhou piano covers as a kid, and throughout my whole life atp. i've never played the game, but i've always had an immense appreciation for the incredibly beautiful melodies that came out of it. covers like these give me crazy nostalgia.

I started playing piano because I originally heard a synthesia cover of bad apple and fell in love with it. I could listen to it back to back and never get sick of it. I eventually realized that it was a Japanese song, so from that point, I decided to learn Japanese as well. While taking Japanese classes in college, I met my soon to be fiancé. It is crazy to think how much this song has impacted my life and it makes me so happy to see other people who also love it

How are you getting the harpish sounds around 1:35 with your left hand? I don’t think a piano can sound like that. Did you change voices for that part?
It's just how the "Rock Grand" VST sounds :)
90% of my covers are done with this particular sound. The thing is, Rock Grand is really good for playing "intense" stuff, it shines when the song is really powerful or aggressive. But when you're playing something a bit more calm and relaxed, the sounds gets "harpish" like you said :)

How do you learn new compositions so quickly?! Your penultimate video was only 4 days ago!
Most of these Touhou songs I had already kinda learned them years ago, so for these particular arrangements I just "re-visit" them, maybe add some new things and let my muscle memory do the rest of the work :)
For new compositions though, I literally just practice them a lot until I like the result lol

Thanks! Unfortunately I don't have a lot of tips to give because I'm entirely self-taught. What worked for me is I just practiced and practiced every single day. Other than that, I'm not great at giving advice lol
