I'm always amazed that he's so embarrassed when women make a fuss over him. He actually blushed at the SDCC '09 panel when they walked out and the audience when wild. And he recently said that the nasty Tweets he got were taken with a grain of salt, but I didn't believe him. He gets upset when he sees bad stuff written about him! People made too much fuss over the hair. He's fine! He's brilliant. Thanks for posting.
No, that interviewer had guts! She said what she actually though, which is the thing that most interviewers DON'T do, instead just speaking a load if complementary lies. I liked her. okay.
Does this interviewer imagine she's being edgy? She needs to rethink that because she's just being shallow. She didn't elicit any interesting info from Noel (or the other comics) at all. At least he got off a few clever gags: "I can't [go out in the day]. I sleep in my coffin in the day, go out at night." "[It's] evil what you're doing. Say my hair looks nice tomorrow." "Shagging and hair. My two special subjects. I shag my own hair." He's always so kind and accommodating to interviewers.
@calumstarkey Yeah. He is a nice guy. And he's also a human being. How many other interviewers have you seen treat him like he's fucking jesus christ incarnate? And she was obviously just kidding around with him. He didn't seem too put off. It was evident she was just having a laugh with him. Personally, I find it refreshing to hear someone talk to him without fawning all over him. He's a human being. Human beings can be sarcastic with one another.

@1flsxx I thought that was kinda touching really, he wasn't expecting it and I think it took the interview in an interesting direction. Also, the jogging motion when he was explaining what he thought she meant, "I haven't done any exercise since I was 7..." Fabulous, he is funny even when he probably isn't trying to be funny,

I hate watching people I'm interested in either get regarded as idiots by their interviewers or get idiot interviewers. Sure a lot of his comedy is sarcasm based but it does not mean he'll know it if you are joking with/at him or not and most of the time a interviewer is very misinformed or does not like who they are talking to so they might not be joking and will toss common decent manners out the window.. Today I see the Cobain look he was after (i've met the real cobain a number of times)
