The Japanese refer to this as _mushin_ (無心). If you were ever "in the zone" you've undergone this state.
Actually, some thinking is required. If you choose a Pokémon weak to them, chances are you're going to lose.

The deoxys being hit by the ultimate weapon is feasible because deoxys is in SPACE NOT HOENN, it just crash lands in heon maybe even due to being hit by the ultimate weapon

I actually had a similar theory to slowpoke, that being they're so intelligent their mind works on another plane of existence, leaving them blissfully unaware of what's happening to them in the material world
Either that or they're just lost so deep in their thoughts that they don't notice anything happening around them, and appear to be constantly staring off vacantly into space as if they don't have a thought in the world
edit: Also about unown and arceus. Unown is only found in a grand total of two regional dexes, Johto and Sinnoh. Coincidence? Perhaps not...

7:56 Yeah personally I always thought that the Munna in Gen 1 thing was done by this way. Pokemon REd and Blue came out in 1999 and Munna from Black and White was released in 2010 11 years later. So technically it is plausible (esp if we take the extra year where Pokemon was released in Japan in 1998) for a Pokemon designer to have remembered this line from playing the game as a ten year old and 11 years later designed a Pokemon like that as a 21 year old.
It's not just the fact that Cosmog's base stats are odd, like the Ultra Beasts' stats Cosmog's base stats are prime numbers.
When it was said that Mew has the DNA of every Pokemon, I'm guessing that only applied to G1 (Gen I), unless it has been clarified at some point post-G1 that Mew has ALL Pokemon genetic codes.
It should be if its specified that it's only got the dna of the 1st region but if not then all pokemon means ALL pokemon
Please do “useful Pokémon” least to most useful. By that I mean Pokémon that humans use for everyday things. Like the Machoke line for construction and moving. Most likely bodyguarding too.
With more than 1,000 species, that could take hours to go through.

@@JamesDavy2009 Probably less than you think. You're thinking of all pokemon. I'm thinking of the ones that are used for jobs and what not.
@@TerryB01 That's still the majority of non-legendaries that have their uses in the workplace.
The Unown one makes sense. The one I'm disagreeing with, though, is that the real steed of Calyrex is Galarian Rapidash. The big problem with this theory is that Calyrex itself says that it's loyal steed was a brute. Galarian Rapidash is pretty much the opposite of that. To me, it's more likely that it had a single steed that was a fusion of Glastrier and Spectrier or it had both steeds at the same time, and the two were siblings. The only thing to support the second thought is that the two aren't version exclusives, but we can choose which one to get. That's why I think the two are siblings that Calyrex would switch between so they could get out equally.
How about the theory that Psychic types are weak to Ghost, Bug and Dark because they are very common fears and it’s harder to think and concentrate when you’re afraid

The "deoxys theory cant be true" one doesnt really work since "it wasnt a laser beam it was an energy canon" what do you call lasers if not energy? And "it wouldnt make sense since deoxys was over hoenn" it had 3000 years to drift in space, unless it was tidal locked in place then that isnt an issue

Some fans are very unobservant and kinda dumb. Mimey wasn't part of the Ketchum household until episode 64, It's Mr. Mime Time. Which makes that theory bigger BS than the Mewthree one

The theories from this video that I learned for 1st time were: Deoxys Was Hit by the Ultimate Weapon, Cosmog is Necrozma's Missing Piece, Hoopa is Saving Pkmn from Doomed Universes, Jirachi created Mega Evolution for Rayquaza, Slowpoke's Omniscient, Lake Spirits guide Humanity, Rabsca's Soul.
My favorite theory is that a boy with psychic powers becomes Kababra I think it's really interesting.

Honestly, I just see the past ones as feral ancestors to modern pokemon and future ones as cybernetic enhanced versions. The pokedex entries about them being from billions of years past or future are nonsense of course but if you just put in more reasonable and less exaggerated times I don't see why not. Look up Aurochs for a real world example. They're the feral ancestors of domestic cattle and they were enormous compared to modern cattle and only died out fairly recently. Why can't say Great Tusk be the same thing? A giant feral ancestor to Donphan from before it and most other pokemon were domesticated?
Honestly, the whole "Mr. Mime is actually Ash's Dad" Theory is absolutely stupid so thank you so much for putting it in the BS Section

I think Unown are not Arceus' hands, they're his speech. The Abrahamic religions mention that god basically does things by speaking them into existence. When the Unown gather they're basically forming magic words that reshape reality.
The Arceus we can capture in the games is shaped like a hand, so it must be actually just a fragment of the real Arceus, one of it's ten thousand hands.

I don't think Mew is the first Pokémon, but I think it's the first Pokémon that Arceus created. If Arceus is the god of the Pokémon universe, then Mew is the Adam and Eve
