@@NickKeomahavongOfficial This might become a long explanation. So, my parents don't get along too well, and my mother has some health issues (overweight and other things). People who can't take a walk with the dog because they're bedridden, or people who can't go shopping or do chores for the same reason. Beyond that, maybe just going to people so they have someone to talk to. I wouldn't try to make money with that. My idea would be that the first time is free, and after that I would just take one symbolic euro, but they CAN give more if they'd like to (completely up to them). @@NickKeomahavongOfficial If it's long term, could all money/assets be put into a trust where the trustee would manage and grow the accounts? They say greed and desire leads to suffering. But Olympians have the desire to win competitions. Doesnt letting go of desire just because we stay happy and dont suffer (by losing) seem like we are fearing competition and running away from it?
I work in a hospital as a help for the nurses. I spend a lot of time by helping sick people and ofter I help their relatives by just telling them what's going on with the patient. It's my job and I do It as best as I can, I like doing it and I know that just simple things may help people a lot. But I receive money for this, because is my job and I need those money for pay my house, buy my food and even for enjoyment. So, I'm not sure that my job can be considered as an act of generosity towards others
I'm guilty of not being generous to everyone, I'm only generous to someone who is good to me. I've witnessed an incident a long time ago a woman beggar carrying a baby asking a guy who is eating bread while walking. The beggar asks for money to buy food, the guy gave her half of his bread, but the beggar throws the bread and asks again for money. MONEY MONEY. The guy gave her food but she wants the money.
If you are thirsty and you ask for water and someone gives you a stone, what would do with the stone? Why do judge the woman? She asked for money. The man gave her bread that he had already eaten. It's disgusting and disrespectful. Beggars are people too. These monks are healthy men who can work and raise families, but choose not to work, and people come and give them the best food and bring money to them. They are beggars by choice. Rember that. Maybe the woman on the street with child is begging because she has no choice. Why give to monks and judge the woman on the street?
@@2967_ - of course, I'll accept the stone wholeheartedly. maybe the guy doesn't have the money to give that is why he gave half of his bread because it's the only one he can offer. The guy is also hungry and it's not a leftover bread. Monks are right who we to be CHOOSY?
Bhante, this world is likewise occupied with lusts and sexual desires. The issues with masturbation for instance, have been prevalent among many adolescences and adults who are yet to find meaningful relationships. Will you give a discourse to address such matters for the benefits of these people? By shedding light on such things commonly labelled as taboo ~
How do you currently practice generosity in your everyday life?

The "goal" of that would be to create a network among those people. I even have a motto for the whole thing: Separated, yet connected.
Separation would be the current state, and connection would be the goal.
It's just an idea that came to my mind one day. What do you think about that?
🙏🙏🙏
Sadhu sadhu 🙂🙂
I want to contact u reagarding buddhist monks in personally how would i contact u my mate,
Hello. Are you looking to ordain? If so, you can apply directly online at Www.Papaemeditation.org/en/
A bit off topic, but does one do with their money/assets in prior to ordination?
It depends on each person, some stay temporarily and some stay long term. So it's varies on each person.
@@NickKeomahavongOfficial If it's long term, could all money/assets be put into a trust where the trustee would manage and grow the accounts? I feel like this would be important if the monk were to disrobe many years later so they would be able to support themselves in lay life, now being older with generally higher expenses and lower job prospects.

Can women be monks to? I don't think I have seen one yet 🤔
I want some papaya 😍
😀😂
Bhante, this world is likewise occupied with lusts and sexual desires. The issues with masturbation for instance, have been prevalent among many adolescences and adults who are yet to find meaningful relationships. Will you give a discourse to address such matters for the benefits of these people? By shedding light on such things commonly labelled as taboo ~
🙂🙂
